Heavy application of your Twig Filter has worked well, Astrid.
Picturit: Don't you just love it, Ray... The house is surrounded with a lot of willows.
This land locked boat is nicely captured, Astrid!! Very good!
Picturit: A weather-vane, Elizabeth. I could not resist this one.
Joli petit bateau camouflé par les branches.
Picturit: A weather-vane on the house and nice and shiny in the morning sun, Martine.

I wonder if the wind can still reach her, Astrid
Picturit: I do believe that is a fact, Lisl. This is the last house in front of a long stretch of lowlands and than lots of water. Wind and rain have fair play here.

I had to really search for your signature today, Astrid
Picturit: I know, Lisl. To be honest I did not know where to put it, in the bat was too small and took away the effect on the boat.
How fabulous, Astrid. And, yes, I finally found your signature. smile
Picturit: Thank you, Ginnie. As I told Lisl, I did not know where to put it, in the bat was too small and took away the effect on the boat.
I took a different route in the Biesbosch and came upon this weather-vane.

It is floating along the roof looking for the harbour..
Picturit: Indeed so, the water is very close-by though.

a nice observation - you surely have been there on your bike ride.
Picturit: Yes, Philine, I took a different route this time and saw this one shining in the sun. Thank you.
Bien vu !!
Nostalgie marine !
Picturit: Thank you, Claudine. Sometimes I like to capture weather-vanes, just because of their beauty.
A nice find. It took me ages to find your signature grin
Picturit: Thank you, Bill. Sometimes finding my signature is the "ultimate intelligence test".... wink
I might have to explain that one.... at my former work I had to sort out customized rolls of pills on "room number" I always said, if I was the lucky one with about 500 rolls, this is the "ultimate intelligence test"....We often complained, they can send people to Mars, but a normal software program to get the rolls sorted out by number was impossible....

Bien vu
Picturit: Thank you, JP. Those are things I see on my many bike-rides and yes I stop to capture those moments.
The people who put this little sailboat here must be someone who, like me, dreams and is in need of the sea...
Picturit: I know what you mean, Marie. This is a weather-vane and these people live very close to water and boats. Maybe a nice gift for your house?? A nice boat-weather-vane and see it "sail the winds"??

How did it get up there Astrid?
Picturit: It is a weather-vane, Chad. So I assume that somebody with a ladder put it up there??

Instead of looking for land, those who sail her are looking for water. Intriguing picture.
Picturit: This is a weather-vane, Care. In between the house and a barn.
The sun made it look like silver.
I like the feeling of whimsy this evokes.
Picturit: Thank you kindly, Ruthie.
The sun made it look like silver.
So you saw this and Ginnie missed it, what a great find.
Picturit: Ginnie was not with me, Brian. The bike rides I do alone, so yes, she never saw this before wink.

Hahah!! That will take some navigating to extract it from the willows smile
Picturit: Indeed Alan. I would not like to be in the shoes of the captain.... wink

Well spotted, it is really tucked away.
Picturit: When I passed the house the sun was shining and made it almost silver.

Those trees look ready to bloom...can't wait for spring.
Picturit: This will be a wonderful place in Spring. I know I will be back her when the trees will bloom.
what an interesting place to find a sailboat Astrid... good eye....petersmile
Picturit: It is a weather-vane, Peter. I spotted it after the sun got to make it sparkle like a star.
Is that a roof?
Picturit: Yes indeed, that is the top of a thatched roof. Often there are these tiles on as a security to keep the thatch in place.
What a great find Astrid! It looks like the building is covered in twigs smile
Picturit: Indeed, Martin. There are some tall trees around this house. I intend to be back in Spring to see the trees bloom.
well seen, Astrid. this wind vane is looking very bright.
Picturit: Thank you, Ayush. It was almost not to be missed.
