i like the bright pictures, Astrid. the cow needed a lot of cajoling to board the cart. where is she headed now?
Picturit: The cows came from the mountain, where they stay over summer, because of winter and snow they get all the cows down into the village where they have stables and the cows will stay there until it is time to out and up the mountain. They have shelters there too.

Men at Work...wonderful!
Picturit: Don't you juts love it.... it was fun to see, Ray.
Astrid.
Que la vache est maigre !
Picturit: That is what we thought too... we wonder how that happened. Now they can relax in the stable and maybe be fed more.
Astrid.
Great fun, Astrid! She didn't want to go at first! smile
Picturit: She has to get used to the people again, but then she knows it is okay to go with them to a nice stable with enough food.
Astrid.
Horseless cowboys ! Good shots Astrid.
Picturit: Thank you, Frank. Don't you just love it... it was fun to watch it.
Astrid.
This is one of our best, happiest memories of the entire week, Astrid! I'm so glad we both got it "documented."
Picturit: Thank you, Ginnie. This was fun to watch. When I saw that truck coming in I knew "somebody" was going to be picked up.... what a memory to keep.

Aha - I recognise that nose pinch, it calms them down. Horses can be dealt with in the same way
Picturit: Thanks for the info, Chris. It was good to see that they did the trick fast and smooth.

The cow seemed to be less keen on the idea of heading off for other pastures! A fine set of images to show the capture.
Picturit: At first she did not want to go, but later it was okay and she will be fine with all her other friends in the stable now..

After a summer in the mountains, it must be scary to come in close contact with humans again. Great [pictures, all of them
Picturit: I think that is what happened here, Lisl. She will be used to them by now and be with all of her friends in the stable.
Thank you, Lisl.
Astrid.
The men look better fed than the cow
Picturit: You can say that, Bill. I hope that she catches up during the winter in the stable.

What a lot of work Astrid, I can tell that you both enjoyed this very much.
Picturit: This was fun to watch, Chad. And it went so smooth.
Astrid.

A very nice scene- and the Bueben are really active - what is about the cow?
Picturit: The story is that she has been up in the mountains all summer and now she is down in the village and on her way back to the stable with her friends, for winter and I am sure she will gain some weight.

Astrid.
Greats eries Astrid, I suspect Mrs.cow wasn't too happy about being put in the truck.
Picturit: The story is that she has been up in the mountains all summer and now she is down in the village and on her way back to the stable with her friends, for winter and I am sure she will gain some weight.
Astrid.
I love this series. The fello know how to use his head and fingers. LOL The cow is very thin. Grazing was very poor.
Picturit: Indeed, Mary on all accounts. She will catch up during winter in the stable.

Elle est bien maigre
JP
Picturit: Indeed so, JP... I am sure that she will catch up during winter in the stable.
Astrid.
Between this wonderful set of images and Ginnie's video we understand the process. Beautifully captured. Friendship
Picturit: Thank you very much, Ruthie.
Astrid.
a great series of the cow that didn't want to go into the trailer Astrid... the three men don't seem to know how to do it....petersmile
Picturit: I think the guy who put the fingers in the nose of the cow sure knew what he was doing. It calmed her down... and what would you do after been free for a summer and then know that you have to be in a stable for a few months.... wink
Astrid.
Great series of shots!
Picturit: Thank you, Tom. This was fun to watch.
Astrid.
You can see the tension straight away.........great shots Astrid! smile
Picturit: She cooled down pretty fast and I think by now she is with her friends and doing okay.
Thank you, Martin.

What an adventure. I do feel a little sorry for the skinny cow.
Picturit: The story is that she has been up in the mountains all summer and now she is down in the village and on her way back to the stable with her friends, for winter and I am sure she will gain some weight.
