Terrific textures and negative space! Is the princess about to let down her hair?
Picturit: I think I just saw the princess escape..... Thank you, Bonnie for your kind words.
Suitably ominous...
Picturit: Indeed, Larry. The ghost left the window...
The processing suits the subject Astrid.
Picturit: Thank you, Frank. This is a wonderful little village. I just learned that the house of the parents of Harry Potter is her too.
Nicely done, Astrid - it does evoke a mood... a bit spooky!
Picturit: Thank you, Elizabeth and not that you mention it, I think the ghost just left through the window grin.

I can't help admire the curves in those stone tiles. Great picture, Astrid
Picturit: Thank you, Lisl. Chris and Jackie took us here in 2011.... it was a delightful day.
As I told Chris, I came upon this "memory lane" file and had to post something from that file.
On the ice-cream, I think dat is a good choice grin.
PS Ginnie made it with 1 point tongue

Oh, I remember Lacock village very well! A nicely done treatment!
Picturit: This is a wonderful village as you know. We both loved to walk around. Chris and Jackie were with us.

I remember us being there Astrid. Remember all those little cars?

I find your twiddle here to be delightful
Picturit: We had such a great day on your birthday there together with Jackie. I came upon this file and it was to "memory lane". I am so looking forward to our stay in England again and meeting up with you.
With that sky, B&W is perfect for this, Astrid. Palpable.
Picturit: I love the texture of the stones and roof. It was quite a wonderful day, together with Chris and Jackie.

I'm glad you have seen this for yourself. So many historical dramas have been filmed there; the locals must make a fortune smile
Picturit: I bet they do, Chris told us all about it. Don't you think it is great that they have places like this like "time stood still"..

A lovely village Astrid. Stone tiles might look good but they are a pain and deteriorate quite fast with the weather.
Picturit: It is, Chad. I did not know that, one would think stone is living longer... look what the Romans build in the UK and still standing.
Quite defined textures!
Picturit: This whole village is a joy for the eye, Mary.
The processing really brings out the texture
Picturit: The whole town is like this, Martin. Chris showed us around, it was wonderful.
I like the presentation of this Astrid, Lacock is on our list of places still to visit.
Picturit: Thank you, Brian. Chris showed us Lacock and more small villages in the neighbourhood, it is worth the visit.

The windows stand out as very modern in this old building. Sort of a highlight in the well worked picture.
Picturit: I know, Louis. It is almost if the windows don't belong there. But then it makes sense when you live there. This is quite the little village and very picturesque.
Love the atmosphere you've created with this one, Astrid. A story could be written around it.
Picturit: Indeed so, Beverly. This is such a wonderful little village, so "English".
nicely framed and great in B&W Astrid....petersmile
Picturit: Thank you, Peter. Sometimes B&W shows the texture more.

very nicely processed, Astrid. i think this is something Bill would appreciate.
Picturit: I think so too, Ayush. Thank you for your kind words.
oh...so eerie...perfect for black monday!
Picturit: .... the ghost just left the house grin...
Thank you, Robin.
That is a stunning shot. I love the black and white.
Picturit: Thank you, Michael. This is such a wonderful village, "so English" and the B&W shows the texture more intense.
Great textures - colour would spoil it smile
Picturit: Indeed, Tom. I prefer the B&W here, it shows more texture.
On pourrait avoir peur avec l'ambiance qui se degage de cette photo vraiment très belle
Picturit: Thank you very much for your kind words, Claudine. This is such a wonderful village.
