TERRIFIC close up, Astrid! Tack sharp. Love the sheen!
Picturit: Thank you so much, Elizabeth. I love the big chains that are the ships.
Very good abstract, Astrid. A lot of strength on show.
Picturit: Chains on a ship really have my attention, it is like you said, so much strength to show.
Thank you, Frank.

Macro Gucci...
Picturit: Thank you, Ray.
Sacrée taille ! jolie photo.
Picturit: Thank you, Martine.
You can almost feel the weight of it, Astrid! (And I can't believe how long it took me to find your signature!)
Picturit: Believe me this is as big as it looks. The signature was fun to make......one extra bit of 'rust'.....

Strong enough to hold and boat to the dock
Picturit: Indeed so and that was a big ship to keep tight.....

Now that looks reptilian to me, Astrid
Picturit: Maybe a little bit.... the shiny part.
Thank you, Lisl
J'adore !!
Magnifique photo
Picturit: Thank you, Claudine. I so love the big chains on a ship.

a wonderful close- up, I believe to touch the iron chain.
Picturit: I know what you mean, Philine. It was one big chain to keep the ship in place.

Chains or shackles? I like the close up of the heavy interlocked slabs of metal Astrid.
Picturit: .....now that is the question....in my limited knowledge of the language it can go either way.... many shackles make one big chain...... thank you, Chad.
You've hidden your sig very will today!
Picturit: You are welcome, it keeps you 'sharp'.....grin... not that you need that, Tom.....
Very stiff rope! Excellent shot, Astrid.
Picturit: Thank you, Mary. Don't you love those chains.

A chain of events brought boat friday. You have me linked in to this picture.
Picturit: LOVE your play on words here, Louis.... I always am intrigued by chains on a ship. And somebody figured that one out very early on.......
Lots of great texture in this Astrid.
Picturit: Thank you kindly, Brian. I so love the chains on a ship. Great shapes and the rust.
Big closeup...
Picturit: Thank you, Larry, sometime I like BIG....grin....
I thought for a moment these were rings of black pudding Lady P
Picturit: Shhhhh, don't let Ginnie hear that, I love black pudding but it is gruesome to her.....
It is the thought to her. I told her that I have a good way of preparing it, with bakes slices of apple on top....
you got some serious close up here, Astrid. i can imagine there are perhaps some standards and regulations as to how much porosity in those things are allowed.
Picturit: I think they use some of the best iron/steel here. They cannot afford loosing a ship because the chain broke loose...
Thank you, Ayush.
A nice close-up, given the size should traces of an anchor chain
Picturit: This was a big anchor chain and it 'asked' to be captured, Claudio.
Thank you.

een prachtige foto met dit licht Astrid

fijne zaterdagavond gewenst
Picturit: Dank je wel, Willy. Havens, schepen en alles wat daar bij hoort hebben altijd mijn aandacht, er is altijd wel wat moois te fotograferen.
Oh how I love the abstraction of this! Super!
Picturit: You know me and boats, harbours and everything that comes with it.
Thank you, Robin.
