It is an odd-looking baby stroller, Astrid, and the Nanny does not seem much pleased by her task this morning...
Picturit: I think she missed hole #18... nowhere to be found...
smile Great capture Astrid! Another "At work" in your series!
Picturit: Don't you love it. I saw her walking against the wind and I though 'that's mine'.... I don't golf and also have no intention to ever try it..
I love this, Astrid. I hope she's also the golfer and not just the caddy!!!
Picturit: Ha that would be rude. You made me smile... no I think she 'carried' her own bag...Thank you, Ginnie

Hahaha - the utter futility of golf beautifully illustrated Astrid!
Picturit: I looked at her and I just smiled... hard labour to drag that bag uphill... I wonder what she was thinking..... I should have joined the chess-club HA

a very fine observation - is the golfer a man or a lady?
Picturit: A lady.... smile
Thank you, Philine.

That;s a funny looking lawnmower; it looks more like a golf trolley smile "I'm off out now; I'm just going to take the golf trolley for a walk".
Picturit: Ha, showing off to the neighbours... maybe she carries her lunch in it too. I would have loved to see her play, I wonder if she was too exhausted being able to lift her 'club'....
They should have electric transports to roam around on, just like in Trumpland Astrid. That would avoid the side effect of becoming fit and healthy. This person will curse when they bump in to your name.
Picturit: I think so too... the wind was forceful and maybe one minute later it rained... RAINED...
Often people that play golf are not very athletic...
Many people take up golf when they retire. It is beyond me why you would spend so much money doing something that you will never be any good at

Great picture though
Picturit: (Speaking for the Netherlands) we have so little space and golfers often feel so GD superior to us normal souls. My believe, if I want to walk I walk where I want to go and not have to look for balls, being hit by some other idiot that never will be able to swing a proper swing or maybe the people playing golf are afraid that they cannot find the way back home... We often wonder, the smaller the ball in the game, the bigger the equipment bag they carry around and the real pussies need a cart.......

So, Astrid is straining to get out of the way.
Picturit: I am known for being an 'obstacle to take'.... grin....
Bill's feelings are also mine entirely. I'd rather just enjoy a gentle stroll with a tearoom at the end.
Picturit: Same here, Brian. I rather walk where I want to walk and not were there just 'happen' to be a golf course... after 10 times I know the scenery and that might get boring, and always the same people wink
I is even worse if you have to walk uphill both ways.
Picturit: I think so too. I do hope that the trolley has a break on the wheels, can you see her flying after the trolley rolling down the slope grin....

That looks like hard work...
that looks like an electric cart and she is pulling herself up the hill Astrid...

love your signature today....petersmile
beautifully crafted image, Astrid. i remember being told that in professional golfing events, the snap of the shutter can distract golfers about to make critical shots. and therefore photographers are not permitted to get to close.
Picturit: Oh dear.... I never knew they were so sensible... but then I have nothing with golf and the people that play it.. thank you for the info.
Now that's really loving her sport! Great capture!
Picturit: Indeed so. The wind was so forceful I think when you put the ball down it moved itself into the next hole...
The things you do to 'relax'....
