Strangely beautiful...
Picturit: Nicely put into words. I loved the heap of hands...
I love how you've removed any background from this image!
I could use a hand...yes, ma'am!
Picturit: These were presented on a black cloth at a flea-market. I removed (on the spot) some of the stuff in the right hand corner to get a better picture. The seller was kind of watching me what I had in mind... and rolled his eyes when I did not buy anything.....
You pick a hand... I would not pick two left hands though.... wink
ça fait un peu macabre...
Picturit: Sometimes that is fun..
Shells without Ghosts.
Picturit: Indeed... I wonder who want to have a hand like that.

I wonder what the name for someone who collects hands might be?

Apart from strange..
Picturit: They have a name for it and they studied the subject at the University of Bologna.....
I'm not sure I can explain why but this is one of my favorite images of yours ever, Astrid!!!
Picturit: I know what you mean. It is a weird picture to see so many hands in one pile... It was fun to capture it.
I worked a lot with hands like these as a window dresser.

Picturit: No, I found this a long time ago at a fleamarket somewhere in the Netherlands.
Thank you, Philine.

I find this a little disconcerting, but strangely beautiful at the same time
Picturit: I know what you mean... it is strange to see so many hands in one pile.
You need hands - Max Bygraves once sand Astrid. Welcome home to Hollandland. I trust you enjoyed your trip to Venice.
Picturit: We had a great time in Venice and Verona. I will have a series of pictures starting this Friday...(back to the madhouse tomorrow..)
Was this a second hand sale?
Picturit: Indeed and you know they always can use another hand there HA...
Wow - totally macabre!
Picturit: Don't you love it....sometimes it is nice to have some black humour..
I have two hands like this and am wondering where one of them is. So, I might be able to use a hand.
Picturit: I know, I have two hands too, sometimes at work I might say: 'I left my third hand at home'....
There is always room for many more hands...
Great idea for a picture, you've got the one with red nails placed in just the right place.
Picturit: The heap was like that and I just cleared some at the right top.. put the things back after taking the picture. The seller rolled his eyes... wondering if I escaped from some clinic...
Super shot, Astrid, you did well.
Picturit: Thank you, Frank. Sometimes it is nice to do something different.
A new meaning to the expression
"can I lend a hand"
Picturit: Absolutely smile

Maybe not that one ;-)
Picturit: You might regret it wink...
I almost missed your signature... they look like a friendly bunch...
Picturit: The were very friendly and did not move at all....
This is just beautiful! And so well captured!
Picturit: Thank you so much, one of those pictures.....
