This is a Wow shot, Astrid.
Picturit: Thank you, Ray. This Cathedral had a high Wow content. Short of eyes all the time.
Those are some seats.
Picturit: We were so surprised, who has a back that long???
You may not have seen as much of the cathedral as Lisl and I when we were there, Astrid, but you sure got a better shot of this area with these high-backed chairs than I did. WOW, indeed.
Picturit: We walked all the way to the back and when we looked back, I saw this... those chairs. It was a fabulous place.
Thank you, Ginnie.

How beautiful this is, Astrid. Did I tell you I have joined the friends of Wells Cathedral?
Picturit: Will they give tours for members and that they will tell the 'secrets' of the Cathedral?
Thank you, Lisl.

I remember those tall chairs Astrid, made for people about fifteen feet in height
Picturit: Amazing chairs, great design however I doubt that they are comfortable. I remember that we talked about it.

A magnificent shot and building. I am very envious of all you folks who've been to Wells cathedral, one day I hope we make it there.
Picturit: It is worth the trip I think. maybe a small vacation so that you can take the time..

Oh now this is wonderful. I especially like your point of view. I've not been inside since I was a teenager; something I need to address soon! These high-backed chairs are incredible; I wonder if they are uncomfortable as they look?

Tom has been showing photos of the cathedral, too... did you go together? wink
Picturit: I was with Chris, last year. He took me on a private tour that day. It was fun, he took me also to the Vicar's close. I know Tom went there too, no we did not meet.
I think the chairs are only there for decoration and in the spirit of the Church, 'thou shalt not be too comfortable, hell is around the corner' or something like that wink It is a impressive experience and I would not mind going back one day.
Hope you had a great day at the exhibition.
