Ha Ha

I can think of a few things that I am confident beat watching people at any Airport, Astrid!

[Looking at your SC portfolio would be one!]
Picturit: Thank you for your kind words, Ray... I have fun capturing all kind of different things.
Joli jeu d'ombres.
Picturit: Indeed.... they were just 'enjoying' the view...
Picturit: I am looking forward to our time at JFK..... thank you, Ginnie.
So true Astrid...Have a great stay in Atlanta with Ginnie!
Picturit: Thank you kindly, Richard, we are now at the gate and we will fly at 9.30
Always looking forward to that trip.

Airports fascinate me Astrid, they are places of transit, boredom and daydreaming

Have a good flight and a GREAT TIME!
Picturit: I know, sometimes I think all the crazy people travel, I already took some pictures..
We fly at 9.39 DL 0047 Amsterdam New York JFK.....wink

'Waiting is the half of life'. a German phrase - you come around and about- enjoy your time in the States with family and friends!
Picturit: I know, and at an airport I don't mind.... we both love to travel and we save every dime to do so....
Thank you, Philine.

Once I'm through immigration and customs, I quite enjoy my time between flights, people watching (Like you) and just enjoying the views. I've only been to JFK once; just 10 days after 9/11. So very, very few people around and there were just 28 on the flight back to England.
Picturit: The first time I landed at JFK was in 1975... I thought we landed in the middle of Manhatten, we had to take a bus from one terminal to another..... never knowing I would be back many years. Thank you for your comment... what a timing to be there...

J'aime ton cadrage
Picturit: Thank you kindly, JP.
It helps to pass the time. Like it!

Have a great trip
This is excellent Astrid, even the 'astrid' has real class about it. This must be Bristol Airport waiting for the Chadair flight, which was delayed by three weeks. Back to the photograph - Classic, superb.
Your trips to the United S of A seem to come round so quickly, scarily quickly I have to add. Have a safe and pleasant journey, and a great time in the United S of America.
Love the shiny floor and glass here. Five hours is long enough to do any one thing in NYC. I would do that.
So hard to think of you two being SO CLOSE!!! Enjoy your trip and safe travels!!! xo

We had a great pub in Addis Ababa - that beat watching people. In general, I don't like airports. Way too expensive (airport tax) and uncomfortable. And 5 hours is a long time.
we have had longer layovers than 5 hours Astrid... i'm glad that you like watching all the people...
have a fun vacation with Ginnie in Atlanta....petersmile
Terrific shot, Astrid! I, too, love taking photo's at airports! Very interesting. I'm so pleased you two continue your annual trek to Atlanta. Have a fantastic shot!
man, that is one clean floor! have a good stay in the US, Astrid.
It's like there are so many great layers to this image.
