If he does a decent job of it then they will not need to be relayed next year.
Picturit: I hope that is true, he did not look like he was the right guy for the job.....
Very good!!!
Picturit: Thank you, Elizabeth.
Happy birthday with Frank.
I love watching men work. LOL!
Picturit: Me too, I can watch that for a long time.... always fun to come up with a nice picture.

I'm sure he is very skilled at doing this
Picturit: I have my doubts, Chris. No knee protection to start with....
I sure hope he's DISCOVERED your signature and is NOT covering it up!!!
Picturit: I am afraid that he was covering the signature with those stones, Ginnie.
This was a fun one grin...

I like your theme "Man at work" - he might be surprised to discover this signture! Great!
Picturit: Thank you, Philine. I think he did not know what kind of treasure he just dug up grin...
At work….hij is gewoon je schrijfwerk aan het verpesten
Heel leuk gedaan ;-0
Picturit: Dat zou verboden moeten worden wink.... Dank je wel, Marjolein. Dit was weer een leuke om te gebruiken.
Precision oblige ...travail minutieux !
Picturit: That is a fact, Claudine and never get rid of good men.
I wonder if he does jigsaw puzzles in his spare time?
Picturit: I am sure he does, Bill... grin however he could not get my name back to normal wink...

He has unearthed your name Astrid, and has decided to clean it up. I once laid a brick herringbone style patio. It was very satisfying to make that pattern, although I know that it’s not herringbone in this picture.
Picturit: Herringbone is a beautiful pattern, Chad, I am impressed. The pattern, correctly laid, stays a long time. He was just doing the easy stuff...

Repaver une rue est tout un art
Picturit: I agree with you, JP. Hard work.
We could use him in Stafford to level the humps and hollows in th epavements
Picturit: HA... he is now trying to make something out of my signature... he will be busy for a while wink.

Nog een fijne avond.
With the speed of his hand you really caught him working.
Picturit: He was working, Care. He did not know what to make of my signature... wink..

Love it, Astrid ...my kind of shot.

I thought at first he was creating an art installation
Picturit: Thank you, Richard. I am afraid he was destroying my signature wink.
He's doing the sort of job we over here would call a 'steady number', very good picture Astrid.
Picturit: Thank you kindly, Brian. It was fun to see him work (and destroying my signature)..
He's probably good at jigsaw puzzles, too smile
Picturit: Absolutely he is, Tom. Next time I will ask wink
A difficult position to work in. Friendship
Picturit: Indeed so, Ruthie and no knee-protection sad
a good picture of the man doing hard work laying cobble stones on the road Astrid....peter
Picturit: Thank you, Peter. I think he did a great job in messing up my signature too wink
A great composition Astrid........I hope he's not spoiling your logo smile
Picturit: Thank you, Martin. I am afraid that he spoiled my logo.... wink...

Now I wish they would would just lay tarmac rather than face stonework because invariably it sinks and comes lose; causing trip hazards. That said, it does look nice, though.
Picturit: I understand what you say, Alan. This was in a pedestrian area in The Hague and they places those grey "poles" in there and the stones had to be put around it. We do have a lot of tarmac though. We also have a lot of stonework as surface for indeed it sinks and that is why they re-use the stones to re-do the streets. They just did a whole renewal in the area we live in... they wait for the street we live on, because houses will be build soon here and the trucks will do havoc to the road and there has to come a total sewer-system renewal too.
Thank you, Alan, I think it looked okay after he finished.

Gives a good description of the kind of work that goes into this process. Really tells a story.
Picturit: Indeed that is a lot of work and it has to be done correctly otherwise it is dangerous.
Thank you, Bonnie.

I bet that is a bit hard on his knees.
Picturit: I know this was hard on his knees and it showed that he is not doing this often. He wore no protective knee-caps..... almost a thing not done here and I know for sure if inspection sees this, he will be fined. o go for him to a doctor with sore knees!!!!
