Never! The most fun thing is to jump out of a swing into a pile of snow! smile This is a great photo - and I love that you have your own swing!
Picturit: grin...... we always will be children in our heart, Elizabeth. Swinging is so fun, even in the mud wink...
I do have my own swing but I will gladly share it with you smile.
Thank you, Elizabeth.
Astrid.
i like the fallen leaves strewn all over and also the lush lawn, Astrid. i am sure the children will come out with proper clothing.
Picturit: Thank you, Ayush. Children will be children and yes they will come anyway.
Astrid.
Il va falloir attendre les beaux jours maintenant ..
Picturit: Maybe so or just get into our "play-cloths" and boots and just go and have fun, Claudine "D...
Astrid.
I LOVE your perspective on these swings, Astrid, and especially am glad you know which one is yours. smile
Picturit: Thank you, Ginnie and I am gladly to share my swing with you, now we will have a whole line-up wink Elizabeth is there also.....

Well and truly over Astrid..
Picturit: Indeed, Chris.... I think these have to wait for the tourists again....

a fine, atmospheric image - I know that Astrid loves swinging, too.
Picturit: Thank you, Philine. It would be fun to swing here with some Shutterchances grin... I am sure many pictures will be taken of the event.

It looks a little sad today, Astrid
Picturit: It does looked sad and deserted, Lisl. I hope that Spring will brighten up this place.
Astrid.
Unusual here now to see bark used as a playground surface
Picturit: Indeed, Bill. I had not even noticed. My son just moved to a new neighbourhood and across his house is a playground and I saw artificial grass all around and rubber mats underneath some toys.

Les enfants ont de quoi se balancer
JP
Picturit: They can pick which has the least water underneath it... or just make a mess of themselves..

No takers today on the Astrid seats.
Picturit: Nobody around and I might say it will take until Spring if/when tourists will come again.
Astrid.
Astrid.
Enjoy the next one then !
Picturit: We absolutely will, Frank smile
Astrid.
I note you've claimed a swing for yourself for when (if) you return.
Picturit: We will be back there next year, Brian. I told Ginnie that I would show her this place. I did a lot of walking myself.
Astrid.
What a muddy mess. This needs some attention.
Picturit: This the day after the NorthEaster storm, Mary. A lot of water everywhere..

zelf zou ik daar nu niet gaan schommelen Astrid

maar jij blijkbaar wel

prettige daag
Picturit: Lekker in de bagger, Willy wink.
Nee, zelfs ik zou hier niet schommelen, ik wacht wel op wat beter weer...
Nog een fijne dag, Willy.
Astrid.
Yup, well over by the looks of it!
Picturit: We have to wait for some better days here, Tom. This was the day after a storm.
Astrid.
All at rest.............your picture speaks your words, Astrid! smile
Picturit: There is a time for playing and there is a time for staying away from the mud here, Martin. This was the day after a severe storm.
Astrid.

Winter is not a swinging affair.
Picturit: I agree with you, Louis. We are waiting for ice so we can "swing" on the ice...
Astrid.
I always think playgrounds without children are kind of sad. A lovely shot though.
Picturit: Michael I agree with you. My son just moved to a new home in a wonderful neighbourhood with a central playground, yesterday, kids were playing there and it was fun to hear and see them having a great time.
Astrid.
Bain de pieds assurés.
Picturit: They have, Martine. I have to say that those puddles were quite deep.... as a child I would take the challenge and just try to ignore an angry mom wink...
Astrid.

Maybe but I'm sure such swings appealed to the overseas visitors; did you have a go?

The swings don't look appealing to me at the moment. I think wellie splashers would take a different view and enjoy the wateriness of the swings.
Picturit: You need the wellies absolutely and maybe even take some swimming lessons here before entering the "swing area".. wink.
Astrid.
