It looks like peak hour up there, Astrid.
Picturit: Indeed, Ray and this was not even busy....it can be more crowded.
Astrid.
the first shot is a fine adventure picture. i see you have sponsored the rucksack for this occasion, Astrid! grin
Picturit: I think to be up there after a few hours climb in great, what the sponsored gentlemen did was, hop from the platform, taking some dangerous steps and reached the top.....

Love the photos. The activity is not my idea of fun ;-)
Picturit: I was tempted, but I am totally fine I have the pictures....
Astrid.
More nice shots Astrid, this looks like great fun.
Picturit: There were some guys and women in climbing gear, totally enjoying themselves up there and having something to eat and relax on the ridge...

Great shot Astrid. Aliens would imagine that the railway must be a terrible experience if some people prefer to climb.
Picturit: Thank you, Chad. Aliens would just run off screaming wondering why we don't fly......
Love your comment smile
Astrid.
I know you were very tempted to do this, Astrid, which obviously you COULD have done, knowing you. Thank you for just watching it with me instead...and taking brilliant photos. smile
Picturit: I was so temped to hop over the gate and do it.... but then I made up my mind. I would have needed some gloves and the proper cloths, the shoes were good.... I am happy with the pictures I have and thank you for the compliment, Ginnie.

That barrier might, but just might, persuade me to walk along there Astrid..
Picturit: Believe, Chris, it crossed my mind of doing the same....but I thought against it, a pair of gloves would have made the difference. It was a one way and very busy....

A daredevil in my eyes - a fascinating image of the climber - and so many people at the cross (Gipfelkreuz)!
Picturit: Normally it is even more crowded.... it was great to have this experience, Philine.

Looks like the route down is as safe as it can be with the cable and the rope. I have to say I would not take a spare pair of shoes on such a trip wink
Picturit: It still was quite the steep down and then up.... I wonder if the man came with public transportation. If by car he could have left his shoes there.
Astrid.
Courageux tous ces grimpeurs !
Picturit: I think you are right here, Claudine..... brave people

Amazing clear light Lady P
Picturit: This was in the afternoon light, we had a great day.

JP
Picturit: You are right there, JP.... it is a looooong way down.
Astrid.
You had some fun up there Astrid! Another fine picture........I love his colourful outfit against the grey smile
Picturit: It was just amazing, indeed great fun, Martin.
Astrid.
Incredible images! what beautiful light and points of view. friendship
Picturit: Thank you for your kind words, Ruthie. have a great day.
Astrid.
A very good shot Astrid, when people do this sort of thing i'm more tempted to ask why rather than how.
Picturit: It might surprise if they know. I think the challenge like I did my first 1000 km on my new bike on Saturday since my first ride in May......
Astrid.

Picturit: Nee, inderdaad, Willy. Je moet een sterke maag hebben willen en een goede uitrusting anders is het vragen om ongelukken.
Het was wel leuk om daar met dit mooie weer boven op die berg te mogen zijn.
Nog een fijne dag.

OH my tummy!
Picturit: This is not for everybody, Bonnie.
Astrid.
Onwards and upwards, never look down if you can help it.
Picturit: Just keep concentrated on what you are doing and after a good study point, look up or down and enjoy.....
Astrid.
from the top of mountain Astrid... the photo of the climber looks like he knows knows what he's doing... an excellent image....petersmile
Picturit: Again, this was such a wonderful day and we took our time to totally see everything and enjoy the moment. Yes, I think he was okay, study as he goed.
Astrid.
