Jolie photo. Le téléphérique semble partir vers l'inconnu.
Picturit: The clouds came in and out, it was fun to watch.
rubbing the windscreen is not going to make the visibility any better, Astrid. despite not being able to see where your are headed, at least one can make out that the cables are intact grin terrific view!
Picturit: I was glad that it was a dry day and yes, I almost felt the need to rub the screen HA. I love heights and I love looking down.
Thank you, Ayush.
What a great shot - love the black and white treatment!
The video was cool.... too slow for me! smile
Picturit: Thank you, Elizabeth. You would have loved the big ride from the bottom of the mountain "up". It only took 10 minutes to up, the elevation is 1725 meter and the length is 3600 meter....1 meter is 3 feet....
Great rides that day smile.
Oh nice shot Astrid, good fun!
Picturit: It was, Frank. We had a great day.

The fog adds much, Astrid!
Picturit: Indeed, Ray, that was the mystery fun about it.

A great image! I hope that you had some terrific view from the top of the Zugspitze.
Picturit: The weather was just great and we had some wonderful views. We were so lucky that day. Thank you, Philine.

Quite an experience riding through this dramatic mountainscape I'll wager Astrid..
Picturit: That was so much fun up there, Chris. We had a great day, freezing at first, but no wind and later some better temperatures. The view was amazing. More to follow from the Zugspitze later.
Oh, WOW, Astrid. This looks like it could be from 100 years ago! I especially like all the people in the background. What a happy memory.
Picturit: Don't you just love it. I loved the ride up and won and walk around in the snow downstairs...... thank you for sharing this wonderful time with me, Ginnie.
Impressionnante photo !
Picturit: We had a great time up there and it was a wonderful view.

This looks as if we are plunging into the unknown Astrid. The video gives a clear view.
Picturit: The clouds were in and out all the time and we were lucky with the weather, almost no wind and reasonable temperatures.
I have just watched the video.....I need to go and lie down
Picturit: So that means you are not a person of great heights. I love to go up and then look down...

Picturit: Als we gaan, gaan we stijl.... gekheid natuurlijk, Willy. Dit was een mooi ritje op de gletscherbaan. De tocht naar de Zugspitze was echt gaaf.... meer foto's later.
What an eerie mood the clouds create. Friendship
Picturit: We just loved it. Some clouds gives it more character indeed.
have a great weekend, Ruthie.

Lovely! Into the mist. From the video, I would expect that the sight when leaving the top station was rather more attractive with a good depth of snow over it.
Picturit: This was "on" the top. We already took the cable car UP the mountain and this was the cable car going to the gletscher. I will show some more pictures leaving the "base-camp" up to the top.
I loved the clouds on the top.
Great shot!
Picturit: Thank you, Tom. It was a great day up there.

Perfect photo
Picturit: Dank je wel, Roland. De bewolking "kwam en ging" op bepaalde momenten.
Gosh! Am I seeing snow? Hard to believe that was in summer.
Picturit: Yes, indeed. This is part of a small glacier and they have "eternal snow" up there. When we went is was close to freezing and it never got real warm. But a great day to visit it.
An excellent picture but I couldn't ever contemplate riding on one of those things, especially with my Vertigo issues.
Picturit: I know what you mean, Brian. I was deaf all the time because of my Tinnitus and altitude issues. I know I might be sorry over time what it will do with my ears, but the Tinnitus is not taking away the joy that I find in seeing things like this.
Ooh.......going into the unknown! Great shot Astrid smile
Picturit: Don't you just love it. That was a great ride and the clouds came in and out all the time.

Vampires, faeries and other bad-ass creatures are lurking there.
Picturit: Of course, Louis and mostly they come out in dusk.... creepy grin...
This was fun seeing the clouds coming in and out.
i can't tell if they are going up or down Astrid... but i am sure the you went as high as the clouds... good imagination taking this image....petersmile
Picturit: We are going down. We first went all the way up to the top and from there you come into the "skiing area". It has several of these cable cars to take you to the different area's. In summer there are a lot of mountaineers and walkers that have their challenges and do what they are able too. We went down for I wanted to be in the snow (part of the eternal snow up there) The clouds came in and out and gave that wonderful feel being "on top of the world".

Picturit: THIS, Ryan is my kind of fun. I love heights and these rides are just amazing.
