This seems rather cleaver to my eye, Astrid.
Picturit: We saw a lot of these parking places next to the highway. They provide the electricity for that area.
Le nombre de panneaux solaires est impressionnant.
Picturit: There were hundreds. The one who thought this up is very clever.
Good thinking by someone Astrid.
Picturit: I thought so too. There were hundreds of these panels.
Brilliant! And a wonderful image!
Picturit: Thank you, Elizabeth. I was impressed with this parking lot.

The very modern Italy, a forerunner in Europe to protect our climate?
Picturit: Who knows, that might be possible. I haven't been in other countries along the highways to see this kind of innovations. I think it is very clever thinking.

This is the future. I suppose we'd all be advised to get used to it Astrid..
Picturit: One day we have to... every little bit helps and I think these designs are great. There were hundreds of these panels at the parking place.

How very sensible, Astrid
Picturit: I thought so too, Lisl. Every solar panel helps and if we have more it might make a difference.
What a fabulous POV for this image, Astrid. I first saw it as an optical illusion...of a building with windows. I loved seeing these in Italy!
Picturit: Thank you, Ginnie. I walked around and wanted to have a good view and no people...
I am impressed that a country like Italy has these innovations to help make the difference. More countries might have these designs.
Belle iniatitive !!
Picturit: I thought so too. I am very impressed with these solutions.

Quand tout le monde aura une électrique ce sera insuffisant
Picturit: There is enough sun to make that happen and even all the windturbines with it can make the difference. I am very much impressed the technology "how to use the powers of nature".
That is a really good idea Lady P
Picturit: I thought so too, Bill. This kind of innovations should be all over the place.

Hey, that’s win win in my book Astrid.
Picturit: I thought so too, Chad. I am very impressed with this kind of solutions.
A good idea but at the same time a real eyesore, but then I consider all solar panels are, especially those on peoples house roofs.
Picturit: I know what you are saying and yes, it might not be the most beautiful solution but it works. I will take a picture for you of a solar panel I saw along the dike at a very nice house..... might take a while... you might like that design wink....
WHat a fabulous idea! WIth all of the new electric vehicles available. I like the light and color combinations. Friendship
Picturit: Don't you just love this kind of solutions. I know it might not look nice but it works..
Have a great day, Ruthie.
The shade is great and in poor weather it helps too.
Picturit: Absolutely, and I learned that even in cloudy weather they work too....
A forward thinking initiative on their part, Astrid. Nicely shot & presented on your part as well.
Picturit: Thank you for your kind words, Beverly. I was walking around and I did not want people in the picture.

Prettige dag.

A-str-id and it looks Belgian. The set-up of the panels is a good idea. Lots of rubbish bins - they are expecting campers.

I like how your picture picks up the patterns of the panels.
Picturit: I had to say that they have at the gas-stations many rubbish bins and that they are well organized and clean. This was on the East side of Italy. The West side was less organized and lots of junk all over the place.
Thank you, Louis.

That is an unusual sight.
Picturit: I know, Cherry. I was surprised as you are. I saw the "roofs" and later I saw it were panels...

What a good idea. Hopefully the cars get some shade, too. Its better that these solar panels are over a concrete jungle than in the fields.
Picturit: Alan, I agree with you. Let they be on tall buildings or parking lots.... they are fine.
I like the thought though.
i think that this is a great place to charge up your batteries Astrid... you framed this very well....petersmile
Picturit: Thank you, Peter. I don't have an electric car though wink but it sure helps to get some electricity....
the first thing that popped at me is that we are not in the Netherlands (or at least the car is not Dutch) because it does not have a yellow plate, Astrid. i think it is a nice idea for the shade but i wonder if the panels are a bit too close to the ground to be easily a victim of vandalism.
Picturit: We are in Italy, Ayush and this is along the highway. I think I saw those cameras securing the area and I hope that people let these alone....
