Ohhhhhhhh! This was one of my favorite views of the entire stroll, Astrid. I LOVE the bike reflections, took pictures of them myself, but never knew you got them as well! YAAAY. What a way to start this dry day. Utrecht has never looked so good! We were so lucky.

Picturit: Water and me, Ginnie, I am always looking into the water, the water of the Kromme Gracht (Curved Canal) was rather fast flowing, but the reflections were great, it is a different world, it is a world that start living its own life in the water, I can just lean against the railing and stare at these refelections for a long tome and my mind will go off wondering........Bedankt voor je lieve woorden, ja soms waren we elkaar een beetje kwijt onderweg, vandaar dat het een verrassing zal zijn, wat we hebben gefotografeerd, dat is het mooie van samen op pad, we hebben allebei onze eigen stijl, onze foto's zullen ook heel verschillend zijn, we haven't seen much of each other, while we were taking pictures, so it will be a surprise what we will be posting, but we do have different styles and that is the fun part, seeing one city by two POV's, Astrid.

This is what I think of when I think of Holland - bicycles and water. Very cool.

Picturit: Yes Mary, lots of bikes and lots of water, in this area ther are some buidling from the University of Utrecht, students mostly use bikes for transportation, Astrid.

Een prachtige foto, een buitengewone perspektief- toch typisch Nederlands: fietsen en gracht. Het waterland Nederland dat ik zo hou van maakt zulke mooie en interessante waterspiegelingen -foto's mogelijk, maar niet iedereen heeft de ogen om ditmoois te ontdekken en vast te houden!

Picturit: Philine, dit is Nederland en dit is de stad waar ik 4 jaar gestudeerd heb, als mijn fiets gestolen werd, 'leende' ik er weer terug", zo ging/gaat dat, een geweldige tijd, deze fietsen en de gracht is een mooie herinnering aan die tijd, er is nog iemand die dat zegt: "jij ziet het altijd anders" , je weet wel over wie ik het heb Astrid

There is something about reflections that we are drawn to. Perhaps it is because it is the only lens through which we can view ourselves. Nicely done.

Good reflections. It is a good thing you had calm water for this. It probably wouldn't have worked nearly as well with more chop.

The best view of the Netherlands, a canal and bikes. Ik zou misschien de brug of wal waar ze opstaan niet op de foto hebben gezet.
