Let there be light! There was so much light for you/us that day, Astrid, as we entered this church, even though it could not stop raining outside. We have a way of bringing the rain AND the light, I think, everywhere we go!

I have said this before and I will say it again: how you SEE your compositions is what I love most about your photography. And that definitely includes your borders! You, mijn vriend, are geweldig goed!

I especially like how the red and white cross peeks out from the top of this chandelier!

Picturit: Yes Ginnie that rainy and windy day could not get our day spoiled, the serenity of the church and the beautiful light was our gift that day, I 'cracked my neck' to miss nothing of the beautiful art in this church.

Astrid, ik ben enthousiast! Zoveel schonheid en zo'n spirituele sfeer in deze cathedraal! Mooi de rhythmische wisseling van donkere en heldere gedeelten! De ogen wandelen naar boven en blijven gevestigd aan enkele mooie details: de schilderijen op den suilen, de ramen (Maßwerk en glas) en -bijna in het centrum geplaatst- de candelaber met zijn gouden schitterende spiegelingen! Heer-lijk! Ik hou van de Nederlandse kerken - en Nederland is zo rijk aan prachtige oude kerken met beroemde orgels - drie keer heb ik een Nederland zingt- TV-opname bijgewoond, de gehele kerk was vervuld met hemelse muziek. -Je foto is al vervuld met hemelse licht, de karssen zijn m.i. niet meer nodig.

Picturit: Jouw beschrijving van deze cathedraal is zo goed verwoord, het was geweldig helaas was er geen orgel muziek, dat zou helemaal geweldig geweest zijn, Ginnie en ik waren helemaal onder de indruk van zoveel schoonheid.
Ja en dan komt mijn perfectionisme weer om de hoek kijken, die kaarsen zijn prachtig maar ik zie dan weer die mooie Goudse kaarsen met van die richels van kaarsvet aan de zijkant....soms is mijn inbeeldings vermogen te groot maar dat is instinct zullen we maar zeggen, dank je wel voor deze mooie woorden, een prettige dag verder.

I like how you have captrured the two differnt textures on the grey pillars. It's funny how it changes just where the light holders are.
The lighting is just right too.

Your border is just sospot on My friend.

Picturit: There were many chandeliers and I kind of think it is a trick of the eye 'we' see it that close to the pillar...thank you for your kind wrods.

The composition really is wonderful, and there's another quality about this image I can't put my finger on. The background colors are so muted, really making the chandelier stand out. Very nice.

This is lovely Astrid and very bright for a church interior. I particularly like the Dutch church interiors as they are so simple and spacious.

Picturit: Thanks Ingrid, they lighted the ceiling with spotlight and in this part of the church are some large windows, you are right about our churches.

Another nice shot Astrid, It's a pity the window is burnt out on the left. I think you could crop it out without spoiling the balance of the shot.
