Great shot, Astrid...things of interest from front to back, and the sunlight is working with you...
Picturit: Thank you kindly, Ray. This are the unique moments we see sometimes. I love the river and there is always something else to see.
Astrid.
The light sure makes the boat stand out.
Picturit: It looks like it is on fire.
Astrid.
Such beautiful light... and I love the gulls standing at attention!
Picturit: Thank you, Elizabeth and yes each has its own pole... like a contest 'who can sit the longest'....
Astrid.
Superbe lumière sur le bateau. J'aime les mouettes alignées sur les poteaux.
Picturit: Thank you, Martine. Yes indeed the gulls were enjoying the 'magic hour' too.
Astrid.
How wonderful, Astrid...and "she'll be coming around the corner when she comes." smile
Picturit: Thank you, Ginnie. Yes indeed and 'steady as she goes'.... smile

And a line of gulls discussing where the boat is going, and whether its cargo just might be a million kilos of bird food..
Picturit: I think if they even 'smelled' it was food, there would be no gull on those poles... wink

Oh yes, this is a wonderful image - also with the gulls sitting on the poles/Dalben in German!
Picturit: Thank you, Philine. Yes indeed the gulls came in for free smile

Fabulou! You could not wish for better light with everything else mainly in the shadow.
Picturit: This was an unique moment, Alan. We were there on the right time.

Oh yes, gorgeous Gorinchem, my Dutch home town.
Picturit: I know you would recognize your Dutch home town, Chad. Great memories too.
Astrid.
Magnifique osmose pour cette lumière du soir avec les goelands prêts pour la nuit ..
Picturit: One of the magic moments we witness, Claudine. That is why I 'always' have a camera on me (don't own an smartphone, only a 'dumb-phone)
Astrid.
Astrid.
Ah, the magic hour...
Picturit: It was indeed magic, Larry. The sun was quite bright too.

It is great how the boats and some towers just manage to catch the sunlight. Still enjoying your early mornings?
Picturit: I love the mornings and next week I show some of the 'really' early ones. I know it sounds strange but I like the drive in the dark, I am fascinated by the lights. Soon that will be done though, I might set the alarm-clock once every while to get some night-pictures.
We had some great light here.
Astrid.
This so much saiys Holland, especially with that beautiful windmill in the background.
it almost looks the gulls are wishing farewell to the vessel, Astrid.
Perfect light Lady P.
Really the golden hour, yes it has the feeling that the keel of the boat is on fire. I like it
you have all of the gulls paying attention to the director on the left Astrid... good blue hour shot....petersmile

Perfect with the seagulls in the foreground smile
Picturit: It was a perfect Golden Hour.
Thank you, Cherry.
Astrid.
Such warmth to what appears a very cold evening! Wonderful!
