I love this! Barely hanging on! Of course I always love looking for your name too!
Picturit: When I came home, it was gone, they tore down the whole building today....

Picturit: sad nothing to fix anymore, they tore it down today.... too bad I was not there to see it.
Astrid.

Hang in there, Baby. One of these days you will be retired and won't have to go to work on Monday! I can hardly wait!!!

In the meantime, it sure has been something else to see them demolish these buildings next door to us! I love how you captured this. smile
Picturit: Each day that I work is one less to my retirement HA. I will hang in there.
I was 'shocked' to see it gone, after i came home from work.

As usual a quality photograph from our intrepid photographer. The simple shots are often the best if the subject is interesting enough. This is almost worrying, I am staring at that piece of hanging masonry and hoping it can hold on for the whole week.
Picturit: sad When I came home, I saw that they took the rest of the building down. Now they have to clear the stones.
I have some more shots to come. I had fun trespassing grin... creepy sometimes.
Astrid.
PS. Have a safe travel back to Englishland.

Hanging around and waiting for better days, as Ginnie indicates?
Picturit: HA HA.... better days will come and I already think I am in 'better days smile
Astrid.
I have a cold and am wallowing in self pity. Roll on Tuesday!
Picturit: A few more hours and it will be Tuesday, will the cold be gone then??
Astrid.
Hope you will get rid of the cold soon!!!

..but not for much longer. The wrecker's ball will eventually see to its end. My thought is it will soon be Tuesday.
Picturit: They tore it down today while I was at work, they did not even wait for me sad
Astrid.
I'm laughing, - well spotted Astrid, I like it! grin
Picturit: I had fun taking pictures of the demolishing.
Today they took it all down, while I was at work sad
Astrid.
Looks as if those wires are strong enough to hold it, Astrid, but I wouldn't take the chance of standing beneath it either.
Picturit: I keep my distance, I have been trespassing though earlier, to get some nice pictures.
Astrid.
Hence the expression 'hanging by a thread'.
Picturit: Indeed true too...
They took the building down today, did not even wait for me to come home...... sad
Astrid.

yep, monday again.. the weekend feels like it was ages ago.. grin
Picturit: So I am not the only one who thinks that.... it was long ago and far toooo short grin.....
Astrid.
Is this one of the places opposite your home that is being demolished? It makes for a good shot anyway wherever it is.
Picturit: Yes indeed Brian. I trespassed many occasions to take pictures. I will show them over time.
Astrid.
I have had days like this...
Picturit: Mine was like that yesterday, I hope a better day is ahead of me...

Could be Modern Art, Astrid.
Picturit: I know, I also wondered why the guys did not take this piece down, it hang there for at least 4 days.
Astrid.
A little precarious here!
Picturit: I know, it wasn't there anymore, when I arrived home from work....
Astrid.
I hope that you used a long lens for this shot Astrid... and how did you get up there to paint your namegrin....petersmile
Picturit: I kept my distance, and on my earlier visits I painted my name all over...
Trespassing was fun and creepy grin.
Astrid.
Hello Astrid!
