An utilitarian wind harness...perhaps not as grand as some, but it appeals to me, Astrid.
Rust and blue skies... makes a nice combo.
I love it Astrid... this is a great composition with the grass moving in the direction of the tail... the texture of rust always adds to a photograph....petersmile

This is so pleasing, Astrid - I love the way you have caught the breeze in the grass

It looks a bit bashed about Astrid: I could come over with my hammers and fix it
Is this one of these new wind farm generators Lady P?

I see that Astrid is the steady, strong, guiding tiller.
It looks as if it has been catching the wind for many years, Astrid. Beautifully highlighted against the sky with its feet planted firmly on earth, surrounded by the swaying grass. You've captured it all so well with this lovely image.

Judging by the direction of the grasses, it looks like its location is well suited to such a device. Not the usual elegant windpumps we associate we associate with the Netherlands.

Who was playing the guitar and who was laying with her head in the lap of the other? Lekker zonnen.
All the better for having seen better days.
Much more attractive than these modern things being built everywhere these days. There was a T.V.programme about this place some while ago, I really fancied the look of it.
Wonderful wabi-sabi sighting!
A nice bit of industrial dilapidation!

It looks a little tired against the lush greenery and the blue sky
Well spotted! Love how the rusty colour contrasts with the sky!
Well spotted Astrid - what a beautiful area you live in also!!

Love the addition of the name, certainly a quirky shot but charming nonetheless.

i doubt it serves any more purpose than to decorate the landscape.. nice catch! grin
Picturit: I think it still takes water from a small canal into the bigger canal.
Astrid.
