Beautiful reflections!
Picturit: Thank you Robin, in a few months you will see this with your own eyes. Over the weekend I will catch up with your blog.
Have a great weekend.
Astrid.
Very calm and peaceful. Your processing looks very natural in this one- it brings out bolder colors!
Picturit: Thank you! I got into some more information about the 'how's' on HDR. Every time we are in this harbor we love the view.

I still can't believe you went through the real process of bracketing 3 shots. I'm so proud of you!!! I am very fond of this particular spot where we live.

I noticed, btw, that the English narrow boat is gone. I used to be perched where that first boat is with the red bow.
Picturit: Thank you so much for your kind words. You know this is a challenge to me and I love challenges. The narrow boat left just before the winter. Maybe to be protected from the ice.

I'm glad to see you are the first person in the Netherlands to leap out of bed and take pictures on Easter morning Astrid!
Picturit: At work they always roll their eyes, when I tell them how early (for them) I am walking outside. LOVED the fact that hardly nobody was in the street. This is a perfect time of the day to me.
Astrid.
This is such an unusual picture because of the absolute stillness of the water. It appears that the entire scene - including the reflections - is suspended in air. The city truly is asleep, and this is just a dream...(and a very good one!)
Picturit: It was wind still and quiet and peacefull. I love times like this.
A good dream indeed grin. Our bedroom is next to a go-through street in our city, we got used to it though.
Have a nice and quiet weekend.

oh ja, een heel rustige, vredevolle scene in Nederland -I see even the colours of Netherlands - I wish you such a recuperative weekeend! I'll go to the blooming orchards in the 'Altes Land' nr. Hamburg.
Picturit: Thank you for your kind words. Enjoy the blooming orchards. The weather should be good too.
Astrid.
A wonderful and peaceful scene Astrid!
Picturit: WE love our little harbour. Have a great day!
Astrid.
I am an early riser like you and love the early morning. What a peaceful scene you have captured. Have a great weekend.
Picturit: Thank you so much. Today I was at the market at 7.30A to get some fancy bread for breakfast. I just love early morning. The sun is out and I am going out to take some pictures again. smile
Have great weekend.

Picturit: Thank you Adrian. I was kind of pleased with the weather and the outcome of this picture.
Astrid.
Three images eh? Doing it proper! Nice result Lady P
Picturit: grin.... you know me and challenges.... I am getting back my fun in photography.
Thank you for your kind words.
Astrid.
Very nice shot. What are you doing up so early while everyone else is sleeping
Picturit: Enjoying myself. Getting some 'me' time after a very hectic week at work.
It works each time grin.
Thank you for your kind words.
Astrid.
Very good HDR done the proper way with three exposures and not quite so garish as your earlier one which I like. Now the place, oh how I would love to stroll around this delightful little harbour, I can imagine spending a very long time taking it all in.
Picturit: It is a delightful harbour. It is maybe a 15 minutes walk away from where we life.
I love early mornings.

As you say, Astrid, a perfect time of day, and best for the pictures without anyone in the way!
Picturit: I agree, sometimes people are 'just in the way'....
It is fun to try HDR. I love the challenge.
Astrid.
Now that is called a bright day in my book Astrid. Now to look for your name...I was just about to report that I need a little longer when 'Hey Presto' I saw it there very cleverly executed and natural.
Picturit: Thank you Chad for your kind words. It was a very bright and crisp morning. Today was like last Sunday. Tomorrow, I hope I can go onto a trespassing place to take some 'stolen' pictures.
The block of houses behind our apartment building, is going to be torn down. They did make a start last week. I saw a fence open, so I like to sneak in and take some pictures inside.....
Yep, I will be careful.

Very colourful, it seems that you are mastering HDR.
Picturit: 'Mastering' is a big word. I try and love the challenge.
Thanks Louis. Have a great weekend.

Things are exceedingly calm, Astrid...no kids out early looking for eggs that arrived a few days ahead of allotted time?
Picturit: Thank God NO..... Almost no people around, I almost got hit by a guy on a bike, going to church, I was in the middle of the street with my tripod and he was half asleep..... wink
Astrid.
