photoblog image .....early in the morning...............#1

.....early in the morning...............#1

The next 6 posts are about 'what I see going to my work, by bike', no need to say that that day I just about made it in time………

These pictures were taken around 7 o'clock in the morning, it was cold, foggy, however above the fog the blue sky was there and it was a beautiful day.

The music really resembles my mood in the morning, I love this time of day, the air is crisp, the flowers bloom, birds are singing, I fully enjoy my 25 minutes ride to work.

This is just before I will go on the dike, where there is a bikepath to the next town, my village is below sea-level.

This brings tears to my eyes...maybe because I had no idea it looked like this on your way to work! I'm glad you stopped once to take this shot. Ontzettend bedankt.
Picturit: I wanted to share this with you so badly, everyday it is a joy for the eye, this is just about at the border of the village, I have to go on the dike and turn left.
I knew you would like this one, it is wonderful to take a walk in the polder too.

Hi Astrid ... This is an amazing shot. I wish it looked like this on my way to anywhere.
Picturit: smile I can imagine and I know I am very fortunate to live in this kind of surrounding, closeby a bigger town, reachable by bike, have work there and while coming home I can relax from the hectics of work.
Astrid.
That is beautifully misty. I love the colours.
Picturit: Thank you Michael, when the sun shines it even is more beautiful.

A beautiful place (and a fine shot of it!) It is spring time!!
Picturit: Spring all over here, I am so glad they leave the big lawnmowers in the garage these days and let it grow so that we can enjoy these fabulous flowers.
Astrid

Sorry to hear about the tragedy that occurred in your fair country
Picturit: Thank you so much Tony, it is a great tragedy, our Queens-day will never be the same any more, it is so sad that one lunatic can spoil things forever.
This Queens-day is one of our highlights of the country, the whole Royal Family, I think 17 members walk freely in between us all......they celebrate with us and have fun, that has ended abruptly now.

Een prettig long weekeind jou toegewenst!

I'm surprised you get to work at all with this beautiful scenery to photograph. It gives a fine impression of a cool, spring morning. Great idea for a series.
Ingrid
Picturit: tonguetongue I almost came in late that day, so much to capture, I think I will go back tomorrow, my free day, they say; a cold night and fog in the morning, so I take my changes again.....
Thank you for your mind words.

Lovely feeling to this Astrid. Never heard This piece of music played on guitars before. I rather like it!
Picturit: If you get http://www.deezer.com/ you can play the whole CD, it is beautiful, you don't have to download anything and it is free.
I am glad you like both picture and music...it is fun to put it together.

misty and very beautifull. well done Astrid and the perfect sound to this image
Picturit: To find music with it is so much fun and I like this kind of music very much.
Astrid.
Fabulous. What time do you begin work, Astrid? or is it a long ride?
Picturit: Thank you Chad, I start at 7.45, we get a horn-signal at 7.40 and we have to be busy at 7.45, normally I am at the 'working floor' at 7.35.
The first thing I do is to check the weather, if there is wind I have to add 10 minutes to the time, in the morning I always have wind against.
The ride is about 20-25 minutes.
Astrid
I know from this lovely picture I am going to enjoy this series Astrid, one doesn't think of Holland being as attractive as this. Mind you I gave up 7 o'clock in the morning when I retired early in 2004 smile
Picturit: Brian, I live in a very beautiful part of Holland, the next 5 posts will show.
I live in a small village in the polder.
I have been an early bird all my life, even when I did not work I got up a 6.30.
I can imagine you sleeping in though...smilesmile

Glorious Astrid: I love this time of day too - especially at this time of year when the birds are singing
Picturit: We are the same in this, it never bores me.
Thank you for your kind words.
Astrid
A cracking shot, Astrid. Good for you for cycling to work through that glorious countryside. Do you ever yget concerned about the dike breaking?
Picturit: tongue No I am NOT afraid that the dike will brake, they are very solid build and they have a good system of locks all over so the can regulate the height of the water.
......and Alan, I only own a bike, so I have to, however I don't mind smilesmile
it keeps me fit too...wink
Astrid.
A truly beautiful setting to see on your way to work, Astrid. Love the framing with the trees and the mist creates a great mystical mood here. Excellent capture.
Picturit: Thank you John, this part of Holland is just beautiful and I feel lucky to see it everyday, it never bores me.

A picture of great serenity and beauty, Astrid.

Must be a pleasure to pass by this spot every day.
Picturit: You are so right, when I am going to work it really cheers me up and when I am going home it gives me time to get my mind organised and relax again.
Astrid.
Nice classic image, with a little classical music to accompany it.....
Lovely
Cheers
Rob
Picturit: This to me is a real pleasure to take this kind of pictures and show 'my world' to you.
The music is a joy to me too.

Lucky you, this is one wonderfull way to start the day. Chance to think about everything and plan the day ahead - so inspirational.
Picturit: Mike, I feel very lucky when I am on my bike to work, it gives me a chance to escape and after work it gives me time to relax and get my mind and thoughts organised again.
I love these rides, they are so soulful.
Thank you.
Astrid.
wonderfully misty, and green! What a great route to work smile
I love your compositon and perspective. You are a blessed man to go along this road every day. Wow
Picturit: tongue and being a woman I even might enjoy it more.....
No Adedavo, you could never know I am female, THANK YOU SO MUCH for your dear words, I never take it for granted when I am on the road to work, I love the job, so what else is there to wish for........
