Beautiful leading lines and wide angle shots. I love the clouds on this day. Great captures.
Picturit: Thank you very much, Bonnie. It is always a delight to walk the parks and for me it was the first time going in.
Astrid.
It is a fairy tale like castle Astrid.

Oh what a beautiful place! I would love to wander around here!
Picturit: Thank you, Elizabeth. You would love the park and to have the castle in the background. We like to go back one day if there is snow.

Tu as raison, on dirait un château de conte de fées. Il est magnifique.
Picturit: It is indeed, Martine. I so love this castle.

Ooh! Another place I'd like to visit Astrid. But it doesn't look very Dutch to me, which shows you just how much I know..
Picturit: I marked it down on the list, Chris. We will go not on a Monday, for we will have lunch in the small village of Haarzuilens, it still belongs to the castle.

Oh, what a beautiful casteel I should visit one day! I love your image.
Picturit: We will make that happen, Philine. It is a delightful place to visit.

I can't tell you how thrilled I was to finally visit this castle after so many years here, Astrid. What a treat during my birthday week...and I think Nicholas, too, was highly impressed!
Picturit: You are so welcome, Ginnie. I wanted to have it on a special occasion and on a nice day so that we could walk the park. I used to walk here with my mom while the baron was still living here, we never went inside for it was too busy to be allowed in, in the 4 weeks that the Baron was on vacation and the castle was open to the public. A true joy, even after all those years.

Where is Rapunzel?
Picturit: Out for dinner I think...

This is fabulous Astrid, imagine living here, you would need a good communication system.
Picturit: HA, I think so too. I did not see any "mail-pigeons" flying around grin...
Astrid.
Whew! What a palace~ I love the gardens to show it at it's best time.
Picturit: This is just a fabulous place and they do everything to keep it in good shape. I am glad that the two granddaughters donated this to a society. All art treasures stay as they stay and will not be sold and found all over the world.

Two great shots of a beautiful building, I didn't know Holland had such lovely places, is this very far from Gorinchem?
Picturit: This is near Utrecht and maybe 30 minutes drive. I use to go here with my mom to walks the park, we never were inside, the Baron still lived there when we would visit.

All the good comments were already given. What intrigues me, is how much sharper the bottom picture is, compared with main picture. Of course I don't know what the originals look like.

This illustrates my frustration. It started somewhere in the beginning of this year. I have a pin sharp picture like your bottom one. Once loaded, it loses a degree of sharpness. Very frustrating,
Picturit: I agree on the sharpness of the pictures, Louis. I went back to the two originals to be loaded up and they are equally sharp... hmmmm and also I did not change anything on the pixels or the seize of the main picture. Maybe I will bring this under the attention of John and ask if there is something that he can do about it.
Thank you, Louis for your input on this.
Astrid.
two beautiful images of the fairy tale castle Astrid... wonderful light and shadows....petersmile
Picturit: Thank you, Peter, we were just lucky with the weather.

The perfect description. WOW. What a gorgeous place.
Picturit: It never tires me out to see this castle. I love the place.
