This is very good, Astrid. How big is the figure?
Picturit: The record is a normal seize LP (His master's voice) so the lady would be a little bigger than my hand.
I came in close to capture it.
Astrid.
What a beautiful piece! This will be a great week - I LOVE glass art!

And Happy Happy Happy Anniversary! XOX
Picturit: smile Thank you, Elizabeth, time flies when you are having fun.... It was a wonderful exhibition with some really really good pieces.
Astrid.
This is very nice, Astrid. Happy anniversary!
Picturit: Thank you, Frank on both occasions. It was a nice exhibition and yes time flies wink

Fascinating! We have also a Glass Museum nr. Münster.
Picturit: It is quite a fascinating exhibition, Philine. Small but very well thought of.

Is this you, wearing nothing but a pair of headphones on your wedding anniversary Astrid?
Picturit: HA I often walk around with only headphones grin... shhhh don't tell the neighbours though HA HA HA...
Astrid.
One of my favorite pieces in the exhibit, Astrid. Well done...especially including the video. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY. smile
Picturit: Happy Anniversary, Ginnie MLS. I found the video on the website of the museum. This indeed was one of the pieces I really liked.

Most unusual, Astrid. Have a very happy day!
Picturit: Thank you, Lisl. The exhibition showed some great and odd and wonderful art. This caught my eye.
Astrid.

What a fantastic exhibition Astrid, the video was very helpful. I don’t think that I would ever try and learn Dutch without first insuring my throat.
Picturit: smile... yep it is not easy to speak Dutch. I am glad there is a video and that it speaks for itself HA.. It was a very nice exhibition and for such a 'small' city/museum.

That is a beautiful record - one of the best ever made.
Picturit: Indeed, Louis and thank you.
Astrid.
A great idea, you will have time for more of this sort of thing when you retire. Have a Happy Anniversary today.
Picturit: Thank you, Brian. Time flies and I am very greateful that in a few months I can spend it like I/we want.
Astrid.
the HMV logo is a good reminder of my childhood home, Astrid. and this is a very nice image.
Picturit: My dad had records like that and it was nice to see that this record was used.
Thank you, Ayush.
Astrid.
I would have loved to have seen this exhibition. I like glass very much
Picturit: I think you would have loved it. It was very well done and with some wonderful pieces.
Astrid.
I LOVE your shot. The video was interesting but your shot is great.
Picturit: Thank you, Mary. I so love this figuring. The video was just to show a little bit about the exhibition. Small but very well done.
Astrid.
An intriguing sculpture...
Picturit: This was one of the highlights for me, Larry.
Astrid.
She'll become dizzy when the platter is spun smile
Picturit: HA... you might be right. I never thought about that grin...
Astrid.
RCA Victor and a beautiful lady Astrid there isn't much missing... somebody scratched the LP record....petersmile
Picturit: Thank you, Peter and I can tell you that the scratch did not hurt the music smile
Astrid.
HMV vinyl records - those were the days trying to get the stylus down without it skipping and scratching
Picturit: Those were the days indeed, Martin and to be honest sometimes music needs the scratching sound. And Vinyl is back, people want to have the LP again.

Fabulous photo, you have such an eye for detail.
Picturit: Thank you, Cherry. I think you are right and I love glass and what they can do with it. So fascinating.
Astrid.
That is fabulous. Kind of a modern art deco look.
Picturit: You are right and I was quite taken by this piece of art. So very well done with the glass figurine.
Astrid.
Très jolie figurine. Joyeux anniversaire !
Picturit: Thank you, Martine.
Astrid.
I'm not an art critic, in fact I understand little, but I can appreciate the shot.
Picturit: That is the thing about art, you like it or not and I love this little figurine. Thank you, Claudio.
Astrid
Like I mentioned in Ginnie's post...how fortunate you are to have such inspiration in your own town! Wow, love what you captured!
Picturit: This museum has about 3 exhibitions a year and they are very well visited because of the unique displays they have.
Astrid.
