You caught the motion well. I like the film sprockets...
Picturit: Thank you, Larry. Sometimes I like to experiment a little bit and I have a theme this week....
Astrid.
Great shot, Astrid! Love the movement from the wind! Cool framing, too!
Picturit: Thank you, Elizabeth. I often watch that tree from our kitchen window. It shows a lot of emotions during the year..... I have a theme this week.
Astrid.
You nailed it, Astrid. It really WAS like a movie, wasn't it!
Picturit: Indeed so, Ginnie. What a day and what an experience for all of us. Thank you.

How well that you have caught the gale in the tree, Astrid - and such an unusual presentation adding to the sense of movement
Picturit: I often wanted to do this and now the wind force was forceful enough to get the tripod out and take this picture. It was fun to get the timing right.

Wonderful how you have captured the storm in the tree! I like your presentation which reminds of former photo days!
Picturit: Sometimes I like to try something new and I have to confess that I like the film border.
Thank you as always, Philine.

You deserve a round of applause for this GREAT image Astrid. That sure looks windy out there!
Picturit: Thank you kindly, Big Bro. That was quite the storm and I always wanted to capture that. Picture is taken with the help of an tripod.
Astrid.
Het is echt een goede actiefoto
Wat een kracht straalt het uit
Mooi gekozen in zw-wit !
Picturit: Dank je wel, Marjolein. Ik wilde dat altijd al doen en met een statief heb ik deze foto kunnen maken.
Astrid.
It is certainly Blowin' in the wind Lady P
Picturit: It sure was and I always wanted to capture 'wind'... grin..

Excellent picture of the annual Dutch blow works.
Picturit: This was so much fun. I had the tripod on the balcony and waited for the right gust to come by...

Terrific stuff Astrid, and shot on Astrid film I see. The Astrid brand is quite a rival to the Chad brand. Eat your heart out Richard Branson I say. This is a great and original idea.
Picturit: Thank you, Chad for your kind words. I often like to do something else and using the Astrid Film (which is the theme this week) I think I added something. I always wanted to capture 'wind'... it was a fun experiment.

Oh...well captured, Astrid!
Picturit: Thank you, Ray. I had fun at the balcony smile
Astrid.
Great use of slow shutter speed Astrid. It's nice to see you have a view of grass and trees from your apartment.
Picturit: Thank you, Brian. I always wanted to capture 'wind'. and yes we have a lot of trees on that side of the appartement. The building on the right is one of the public parking garages of the city. I park our car in this one. because we have an address in the city we get a discount. I love it. The car is sheltered.
Astrid.
Great idea. When I get this result it is usually a mistake.
Picturit: This was on purpose even with the use of a tripod. believe me I often have pictures like the ones you describe grin....

Not a good day, I hear, with several deaths, too. I saw on our TV news, several container lorries blown over on a bridge. In the UK, there were many trees down.
Picturit: 66 lorries flew over the road and our Minister of Transport was very angry. There was a national Code Orange and that later changed into code red. Next time this happens it will be translated in all languages possible, my guess is that Polish will be the first on the list. Many many accidents are with Polish (drunk) drivers. LOTS of trees were down here too sad
Astrid.
perfectly executed, Astrid. i love it!
Picturit: Thank you, Ayush. I wanted to capture 'wind' already for a long time.
That tree is very dear to us, we se the seasons change in it.
Astrid.
Love the film border and love the slow shutter speed to capture the movement. Well done!
Picturit: Thank you, Robin. That tree is very dear to us, we see all the moods that is in wink. Soon Spring will be in it again... also a delight to see.
Astrid.
That wind is really strong. Nice shot
