You'd think they would clean it up...
Picturit: Me too however I am glad they waited until I was done with capturing this scene wink.
Astrid.
I love old trucks like that! Great shot, Astrid!
Picturit: Thank you, Elizabeth. I finally walked into a scene like this and too bad we had too little time. I would have loved to have the opportunity to go more up close. But I am very thankful I at least have this shot.
Astrid.
excellent shot on all accounts, Astrid.
Picturit: Thank you, Ayush. I was so happy to walk into this scene.

I love this!
Picturit: Thank you, Ray. This is not a scene we see in Hollandshire and finally I bumped into this place.
Astrid.
Wowser, Astrid. I never saw the trucks. What a photo op...that entire farm site!
Picturit: This to me was a 'photographer-heaven-farm'... there was so much to see that it was impossible to 'notice' it all.
Thank you, Ginnie.

Ces camions datent d'une autre époque Dommage qu'ils n'aient pas été restaurés
Picturit: I often wonder why they abandon trucks like this. I know for sure that they would have come in handy for a new owner who takes good care of them..

I suppose they will gradually rust and decay into the ground, but well caught on their downward journey
Picturit: I sometimes use the word 'evaporate'.. just because I like the sound of the word. I wonder if they will be taken away at all.
Think of all the small animals that live there and have shelter...

Those trucks have taken their last trip Astrid. They are following my example of being happily put out to grass..
Picturit: You put this in good words and 'retirement' would have been a good title too. I already have a taste of 'retirement' right now. I will catch up with you over the weekend.

A lovely landscape- but a sad, poor look of all the trucks- I like Chris' comment!
Picturit: This is what I loved on that farm, the view and the old trucks. I totally agree with a sad feeling. Once these trucks were loved and used. However now it is time for them to retire and give shelter to small animals living there.....
Astrid.
Quietly rusting away in the sun
Picturit: Yes indeed and giving shelter to some animals that might live there.

I don’t think that the owners have been paying sufficient attention to vehicle maintenance Astrid.
Picturit: To me it always blows my mind that trucks like that end up like that. Once they were new and came in handy. For us it is a great photo-op.

Oh wonderful! I’m sure all these vehicles need is some new tyres (and wheels!), a bit of fuel in the tank and they will be good to go!
Picturit: Yes indeed, I don't see the problem of fixing that wink

They broke down during the race smile
Picturit: ....and they are still fighting ' who won'... grin grin grin...
Astrid.
Oh how I love the paint on those old trucks. I could spend hours just photographing the abstract art that comes from those old doors etc!
Picturit: We both so regretted that we just had 15 minutes on this farm. Our friends just could have dropped us of and picked us up much later... but I was thankful for the time we had.
Astrid.
Ooo, photo heaven...smile Nice, Astrid.
Picturit: Thank you, Frank. Too bad we did not have more time in this 'heaven'....

Very rustic.
Picturit: Scenes like this are not in Hollandshire and I feel so lucky to see them in the US.
Astrid.
I always think it is interesting when visiting farms to see how much old equipment they have laying about out of use.
Picturit: I know, Brian. The thing is they have too much space. We hardly see this in Hollandshire for 'we don't have space' and the space we have is very costly.

Been there for a long time!
Future achaeologists will dig them up!
Picturit: Ha that will be the day.... over about 1000 years... if the world is still there.
Astrid.
