I like this shot of a little slice of life!
Picturit: In a back alley in Venice. The fenced property was a small piece of grass.
Astrid.
A universal sight Lady P. The building behind could do with some freshening up too
Picturit: I know, this is a back alley in Venice. I think most of Venice need some Freshening, it is a dying city sad.
Astrid.

Must be valuable clothing if it requires protection from three strands of barbed wire, Astrid!
Picturit: You never know what idiot will steal your laundry.....rather be safe than sorry.
Astrid.
One of the memories of Venice I love, Astrid, seeing all the clothes hanging out to dry! And I love your signature placement (and "font").
Picturit: Indeed so, Ginnie. We walked through some back alleys and I many lines with laundry drying. It is not always that I carry a felt-tip-pen..
Astrid.

Picturit: Rather be safe than sorry.... smile

Quelle tristesse ce genre de quartier.
Blimey, this look like Havana Astrid. I hope the sheet does not get snagged on the barbed wire.

I especially like exposed brickwork where the rendering has fallen off and the textures of the old wood.

The washing looks modern in this picture smile A lot of refurbishment required.
A great contrast - shabby building and clean laundry. Monday as laundry day was universal when we were growing up. Most often now, laundry is done on the weekend.
Lovely dilapidation!
Picturit: Thank you, but a reality that makes me sad in a city as Venice.
Astrid.
From waht people say I gather a lot of Venice could look lkke this one day, still it makes a fine image.
Picturit: You are right, Brian. Venice is a dying city with almost no real inhabitants. Also the major seems to have no clue only a clue of incoming money from the tourists and not minding the need of the Venetians sad
Astrid.
Oh my gosh...the signature is PERFECT! And love all the lines throughout the image. Wonderful!
Picturit: Thank you, Robin, we walked the back alleys of Venice and saw some of the 'real' Venice. A lot of the houses could use a little TLC...
Astrid.
this is a neat shot, Astrid. i love it.

The contrast between the barbed wire and the washing is noticeable.
