Quel magnifique voilier !
I think we all were "surprised by joy" when we saw her, Astrid. She looked like a toy from someone's imaginary world.

That's the magic of walking - you see everything there is to see!
Hehe, you and Bill are singing from the same hymn sheet today Astrid. Is that's Cabot's ship The Astrid?
It was a great bonus seeing this and a coincidence that we have posted it on the same day!
I will never forget seeing the reenactment of her sailing into Newfoundland.

A fine ship beautifully captured smile
A beautiful ship...
very nice scene, Astrid. she looks to be in excellent shape. it would be complete if there was someone in the crow's nest!
Oh how fun it would be to be on that beauty!
A good find Astrid especially with the water and trees with the boat. You must nhave been on a bridge.
Picturit: I was at the side of the river and climbed on the wall...
Astrid.
Lucky, indeed! What a beautiful thing!
PS.... do you still refer to a ship / boat as "she" if it's named for a "he"?
