A wonderful structure, Astrid.

I believe I have seen it, like this, from the same place you are standing.
Picturit: Don't you just love this view. Never get tired of this. I know this bridge has been shown many times before....
a wonderful structure indeed.
Astrid.
Magnifique pont. Joli point de vue sur ce paysage.
Picturit: This is a wonderful point of view and I never get tired of it. This is what I like about the landscape of England... the hills and the far views.
Astrid.
Wonderful angle, Astrid! Isn't that lovely! I like your processing!
Picturit: Thank you, we walked through the park and I loved the view, it is very impressive, also the backdrop.
Astrid.
Super shot, Astrid.
Picturit: Thank you kindly, Frank.

This is one of the best views of this bridge I've seen, Astrid, getting in both end towers so perfectly. You also get the feel of how high up it is and therefore how hard it must have been to build?!
Picturit: Thank you so much for your kind words. I never get tired of this bridge, what an enourmous engenering
Astrid

How sad that Brunel never saw it completed. This is a very fine picture of it, Astrid
Picturit: I never knew that, too bad, he would be very proud. Thank you, Lisl, I know you saw many many pictures passing....

Oh, this is the best image of this magnificent bridge I ever saw! And the Severn has water.
Picturit: Thank you, Philine, we were so lucky with the weather and yes it was getting high tide again.

Well done Astrid, a super image of this wonderful engineering feat
Picturit: Thank you, Chris. I love the view and this is such grand piece of engineering, a joy for the eye. I am always at awe how they did it in that time.....

I remember only rocks on the left side- how did you manage to get this view on the bridge?
Picturit: We were in the park and I walked all the way to the very end of the cliff and captured it like this.
Astrid.
I love this bridge Astrid, an icon of the West which has impressed me since being a child. I wrote about it in my books, how a cousin and my brother pretended to swing me over the edge.
Picturit: smile.... I am glad that you did not fly that day. It is a wonderful bridge and a wonderful job of engineering.
Astrid
Love this view and the added texture of the water adds a lot.
Picturit: Thank you, Mary. This was the first time I saw so much water in the river....

Excellent picture. Hard to imagine you are in a city.
Picturit: We had a great walk and we could hardly hear and see traffic for a while.
Astrid
We've been as far as the right hand side of the bridge on our one visit to Bristol but not across it.
Picturit: One year we walked across the bridge and now we walked passed it and went further on the walk of many miles, next time we will do another part of the walk.

Picturit: Thank you kindly, Cherry. One of my favourite bridges and I love the engineering.
Astrid.
excellent point of view, Astrid. beautifully complemented by the sky too.
Bridges always fascinate me...thinking about the building process! Mind blowing!
