That is me every morning ;-)
Picturit: Than each morning is a battle for you..... wink
Astrid
airports Astrid... i have a great dislike for them...
it's always... hurry up and wait....petersmile
Picturit: I always make the best of it, I walk each corridor to see what is ther and I watch people and go in shops, never buy, but want to see what awful things they sell to tourists......
Astrid
Nice capture, Astrid! It always amazes me that people can sleep in such places. But I suppose if you're tired enough...
Picturit: I think so too, I am one of those in planes, I can sleep. On the airport I walk and walk and walk and watch people......

Dur, dur de commencer la semaine.
Picturit: I know... I am lucky, I don't work on Mondays.....
Astrid.
I have no idea where you saw this, MLMA, but you clearly captured the moment! (I'm glad you didn't ask for permission.....)
Picturit: I think they would not have been amused grin.... I could have said, you have another 3 hours of sleep left ...
I love looking at people at the airport.

They must have had a long wait to be so fast asleep, Astrid. Great picture
Picturit: I think so too... normally I would never capture these people, this was too good to not 'point and shoot'.... nobody saw me grin.

We don't want to go to work, or anywhere for that matter..
Picturit: That is why I don't work the Monday... my week starts at Tuesday smile
Astrid.
They had an exhauting weekend Astrid! Great capture indeed.
Picturit: I think so too and being a tourist in the Netherlands is tiring...
Astrid.
I feel for those poor tired travellers Astrid, especially having to share the only seat. This would look great in Black Mondag.
Picturit: Me too, this was a whole gang of them... at some airports you can rent sleeping places in the Yotel.... http://www.schiphol.nl/Travellers/FoodRelax/AfterPassportControl/Relax/Yotel.htm

Potverdorie! Yes, I have seen this many times. Sometimes an airport is taken over by sleepers. Sometimes you have to wait so many hours for the connecting flight.
Picturit: I know.... it never happened to me yet that I slept at the airport.

The only thing to do when you have a delay,Astrid.

Love your signature on the door.
Picturit: smile thank you Pauline. I took office at the airport grin.
Astrid.
I felt that way this morning, very unusual for me. Love the shot.
Picturit: I hope it will be Tuesday fast then...
Astrid.
Great! The most perfect image for a Monday!
Picturit: Thank you, Robin. I know Monday mornings are hard on most people.. smile
Astrid.
No way could I be like this if I was waiting to get on plane. Wait a minute, I never intend ever getting on a plane again, I am a coward!
Picturit: Has nothing to do with being a coward... you just want to be with two feet on the ground.... and I cannot blame you.
I always am glad when there is 'touch down' the normal way....
Astrid.
Fantastic I can hear the snores ZZZ
Picturit: Don't you love it... I might see one at the time, but this was a group of 4..

a familiar sight on many airports. Travelling can be very stressful.
Picturit: I think if I was stressed I would not close my eyes for a minute, too afraid to miss my flight. I could never sleep at the airport. I walk all the time and look at things and even flying to England I sleep in the plane...

Hhahaah!! I lack the ability to sleep in places like this no matter how tired I am. Funny enough, when working, I could often drop off at my desk, though! If I was naughty, I'd wake the lady taking up two seats and sit on one of them wink
Picturit: Sometimes at work in the cafeteria I can close my eyes and sleep...not doing so though, I might never wake up HA...
Wouldn't that be something to wake them up wink.. ('you have another 3 hours
before your plane leaves'...)
Astrid.
A night spent in a railway station?
Picturit: Schiphol Airport, seen at one of our travels abroad..
Astrid.
The joy of travel Lady P grin
Picturit: Indeed.... grin... it is fun to see watch people smile
Astrid
Maybe they're waiting to get into your office (Astrid window). They look exhausted.
a great shot of this moment, Astrid. i always envy people who can drift off to sleep at the drop of a hat. some of them even start snoring!

I know that feeling, thank goodness my jet setting days are over! It was never as good as it was imagined. Lots of waiting for delayed flights, over booked hotels and hours stuck in traffic.
