E.T. ?
What is this place??
Picturit: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Westerbork_Synthesis_Radio_Telescope
Star-watch, there is only little light pollution in this area, remember the Netherlands is very crowded and has hardly places where live NO people...

Naturally I knew straight away that there were aperture synthesis interferometers; it is so obvious. Probably, they were getting football results form the radio station around 30 miles away smile Apparently, despite our Jodrell Bank radio telescope being so old now, it is still doing world-beating research in places well beyond my comprehension.
Picturit: I know that smile....there is a whole lot of space out there what we don't know anything about it....
Astrid.
They must be pulling in massive amounts of data - probably so much that it will take eternity to process it all!
Picturit: I think so too... and what will happen if they ever find life in space... I think they freak out smile
Astrid.
Very good photo
Picturit: Thank you very much, Roland.
Astrid.
i like how they seem to be collaborating with each other while they look around, Astrid. nice treatment to go with this.
Picturit: Thank you, Ayush. I am always attracted to these kind of structures.
Astrid.
An interesting read! Love your name placement!
Picturit: Thank you, Robin. Don't you just love the engineering here and maybe they will find life....
