I take it the women & children have been safely packed away in these tubes Astrid - very sensible
Picturit: Yes indeed.... wink
I found out that it is a Dutch company http://www.viking-life.com/viking.nsf
they have all kinds of safety thingies....
WOW! What an invention...a Viking liferaft that will hold 25 people each. Where in the world did you see these???

Ik weet niet wat dit mocht zijn. Ja, ik ben met Bill heel eens.
Picturit: Just watch this, Philine. I know the rope seems too long but the rope is normally attached on the boat and when the container drops in the sea the container will be opened. It is a Dutch company BTW (Viking life rafts)
Wouldn't it be interesting if the platform shot the vessels skyward.
Picturit: HA.... smile Never thought about that, NOW I am smiling from ear to ear. I have that picture in my head now grin...
Have a great weekend.

You do get some most unusual shots, Astrid!
Picturit: These things catch my eyes and I like the way they are next to each other...
These are lifeboats. These look funny as they are all equipped with black purses (for the women).
Picturit: Ha, they have to be sure to store away the lipstick before they are saved by a handsome sailor HA HA HA...

Let's hope they are never needed.
Picturit: I hope so too, but if somethings happens, they are ready to use.
well shown and a very apt shot for Boat Friday, Astrid.
Picturit: Thank you, Ayush. It was something I had never seen before like this.

Ray is right smile smile They make a great caterpillar.
Picturit: Don't you just want to see what happens when they roll off grin....
Very interesting design...
Picturit: I had never seen them like this, I think very effective, the moment they roll off, the mechanism that opens them is triggered....
