Those signal flags look quite like clothes drying on a line, Astrid!
Picturit: It was amazing what we saw 'hanging around' on those ships...

Jolis bateaux de pêche, j'aime leurs noms et leurs couleurs.
Picturit: Some had such wonderful names and there was so much 'junk' on board too.
Astrid.
Stuart is cool with his long tongue Astrid... i love fishing boats... Michelangelo II doesn't look so cool hanging out his laundry....petersmile
Picturit: The laundry has to hang somewhere... Stuart is so funny, I have one glued to my dashboard, one inch tall smile
Astrid.
Now that's the best name placement yet! So good!
Picturit: Thank you, Robin. The original name is 'Michelerosaria'... Maybe two lady captains wink...
Astrid.
That fishing boat is a gem Astrid! Lovely capture.
Picturit: These boats were great to see, so much on board, it was a miracle that they did not sink...
Astrid.
YOUR boat. YOUR Stuart. How to make your day!

And it was so fun finding out about the Minion connection to Malta. WOW.
Picturit: I heard a rumour about Malta and Minions.. now we know why we saw so many minions around.
Astrid.

Oh, I love to find your name!
Picturit: Thank you, I think they were two names anyway. The name on the boat is 'Michelerosaria'...
Astrid.
Hey Astrid, you've gone all Latin, well at least Romance speak. I agree that the cyclops character is the most charming. Imagine living with these, you'd have a permanent headache.
Picturit: I totally agree with that permanent headache. I watched the movies with the Minions, it is so much fun and nonsense.

Picturit: I did a little twiddle indeed.
Astrid.
Love the minions.....
Picturit: smile they are great.
Astrid.
I Love seeing the clothesline.
Picturit: Most boats had some cloths outside for drying.

They looks to be fine working vessels. never seen Minions on a ship before. I understand the connection with Malta now.
Picturit: This was the first for me too. After reading about the Minions I found the link.

Ba-ba-ba-nanana-ba-ba-na-nana!

Kdo bo kdaj ime svojo barko Michastridaria?
(The opening line of an old Slovenian boat song)
Picturit: Don't you just love it smile
So much nonsense and people 'buy' it.. genious.
Astrid.
I like the 'busyness' of this picture, Astrid, nice sky too.
Picturit: I know what you mean, we saw maybe one boat that did not have that 'busyness' on board, the rest was like it was 'exploded'... Fishermen have no time to tidy-up I guess wink
Astrid.
Very fine boatage, at least someone still does their own washing
Picturit: Thank you, Martin. I think it might be necessary to do the washing on board, they might be gone longer than a few days.
Astrid.
I love how bright the colors are in your image, Astrid!
Minions are goofy!
