I only saw bicycles ;-)

Your eye has captured a wonderful photograph smile
Picturit: This was not even a big 'bike parking' I think that is why the person put a red crate on the bike, which is a nuisance, it takes too much space sad
Thank you, Cherry.

You'd have to move all those bikes to get to it!

This really does show just how much the Dutch love their bikes. The style of bike seems so different to those in the UK; all the handlebars here seem designed for comfort rather than style smile I wonder what's in the crate?
How does one get in there to get their bike? This is a very good capture, visually and in wonderment.

The red crate is to find the bike at the end of the day smile Great picture.
Picturit: Indeed, Louis. but a nuisance to the other bikes, it takes too much space.
Is that to help them find their bike?
Picturit: It sure makes it easy, a nuisance though. They use it to carry goods or groceries...and yest to find their bike sad
The only other place I know so full of bikes is Cambridge, it is famous over here for all the undergraduates riding them to college.
Picturit: Bikes are the main source of transport in the Netherlands, we cannot do without them..
I'm delighted to see at least some have bells, in England they are regarded as infra dig, cyclist delight in riding up behind you with no warning and then expect you to jump.
Picturit: All of them should have a bell, it is law. But that is the same as giving directions sad......
It is a jungle sometimes...
i don't know how they got the red crate into this scene Astrid...
WOW... what a great composition of the bicycles....petersmile
Picturit: There are rows of bikes and this bike has a crate on the front carier, a total nuisance for they take up too much space and wreck your bike if it is next to that idiot... We often use our bike as a car, transporting goods....
Thank you Peter, this was a small parking lot....we do have BIG ones in Amsterdam for 5000 bikes... and always filled up.
