C'est un peu dépassé maintenant.
Picturit: Absolutely, I think some people might never have seen such a gadget in real life.
Astrid.

Picturit: You read it all smile... this was long way back on my first trip to England.

I wonder how many people tried and gave up after they found this too taxing?
Picturit: It is far too slow too for most I think...
Astrid.
Most of us here remember such a phone, MLMA, but what I love most is where you put your signature. BRILLIANT!
Picturit: Thank you kindly, MLS smile
That is my joy...
Astrid.

Oh, I remember well! I know persons who still are using such a teelphone. I admire your skills to insert the name 'Astrid'!
Picturit: Thank you kindly, Philine. That is my joy. I think the 'old' phones are coming back, as a nice gadget to have.
Astrid.

I remember how smelly the old telephone boxes used to be!
Picturit: I think that was the same as our phone-booths...
Astrid.
If they don't get it now Astrid, there's no hope for them.
Picturit: I know.... but you know how difficult 'reading' is...
Astrid.
Remembering me of the old days when it took ages to dial Astrid...Great capture!
Picturit: People were more patient I think, now it has to go with the speed of light....
Astrid.
I had one for years because I could hear it's loud bell when outdoors. A little girl over-nighting with my daughter asked to call her mom. We had quite a laugh when the nearest phone was the dial phone and she did not know how to use it.
Picturit: Welcome to the 'real world my dear'... grin....
I can imagine the laugh...
Astrid.

Seems to be somewhere in the US. Do they really require a three step manual? At least I can phone you to ask for the emergency people. Good thing.
Picturit: This was UK.... in a museum, but still...
And don't worry, I will connect you to everybody in the world if you just give me the number wink
Astrid.
Great stuff ! I tried the plumber but couldn't make a connection!
Picturit: I think the plumber was too busy and had his answering machine on.... wink
Astrid.
fun shot, Astrid. if i need directions to your house, i should dial 999 grin?
Picturit: Of course.... you can try grin...
Thanks Ayush.
Astrid.
I remember your first trip to Avoncroft well Lady P
Picturit: I have good memories to that trip. It was our first meeting smile
Astrid.
That is so funny! I definitely remember the days of a dial phone!
I like the obvious plumber... I remember that rotary dials were fun...
I would like to be able to say I didn't remember that ;-)
