Last Friday Ginnie put up this post (link).

We never know ahead of time what we show, I had this already queued up.

It does look similar, Astrid - you are both on the same wavelength so often
Two fine interpretations Lady P.I love the light in the window

I am Don Quixote again...twice in one week!
Excellent Astrid, mainly for the little drop of orange light oozing from that window.
I so love when we are witnesses to the same thing but have two entirely different interpretations, MLMA. I'm so glad I convinced you to leave this one up!!! THANK YOU.
Picturit: Thank you so much MLS. This Christmas we take a walk again and just be happy with what we see. It is a wonderful place and it is never the same each time we come there.

This is a lovely image Astrid, more Dutcher it could not be
Picturit: Thank you Chris and I agree and we never get tired of taking a walk here.

This is a great b&b (blue & black), with that single lit window standing out as if in selective colouring.
Picturit: To be honest, I cloned out a few lights to make this one 'pop-out'..
I hardly ever do something with my pictures other than the usual...
Astrid.
The gorgeous blue hour creates magic in everything it touches. Nice that they left the light on for you.
Picturit: It was an early starter like us smile

I wish you a beautiful and happy year 2016, health and well being to share with your loved ones
Beautiful week Friendships
Nice to have a different POV Astrid! I quite like it.
I'm happy to see this image again! Like I told Ginnie...I so want to go look in that window! Beautiful!
Picturit: It will cozy and very nice inside, there is more space than you imagine and it is all well thought off. But I would not mind to join you and have a look..

hahaha! It matters not; it gives us a chance to see a different take on a similar scene. This says "Holland" all over it.
Picturit: More Dutch you cannot get. Before I shot this picture I already knew the title. It is fun to see what both Ginnie and I see when we walk and take pictures.
Astrid.
I wouldn't even to presume to choose between both images, each has its own delights, here it is the way you have captured the windmills as a bunch in the centre of the image, with just that single lighted window shining out.
Picturit: We never know what we show and I don't want you to choose. We both have a different style and I hardly do any processing as for Ginnie using layers.
It is fun to show what 'we' see when we are together on a walk...
Before I took this picture I already knew the title, Which happens very often.
Thank you Brian as always.
Astrid.
i like this shot of the windmills at the blue hour Astrid... great composition....petersmile
