One of Life's Seasonal Challenges, Astrid.
He's quite serious about it... I'm sure it will be a beautiful tree!

Il a un air très sérieux.
HA! You didn't mention anything about my string of lights from last year, so maybe that's a good sign??? grin
Picturit: I know we had 'some' trouble getting it into the tree..... but it did not explode grin.....

I don't think he is ever going to get there, Astrid
Picturit: He was shaking and shaking the bunch..... I hope he did not break the thing. We were walking around, visited a church and after we had done all that he was still shaking the bunch......I think he still has nightmares about Christmas lights.

I feel sorry for this poor Christmas victim Astrid - well seen!
The annual untangling of Christmas lights. No matter how carefully you pack them away, by the next year they are tangled again

Was the young man successful? - a fine observsation of a working man! In our city many trees have been illuminated in this way- they look wonderful at night.
Picturit: We did not hang around long enough to see, I think by now the lights are on smile
Astrid.
I think I heard that someone has invented non-knotable cabling Astrid. That could be a great success.
Christmas lights and necklaces, a couple of those things that the word frustration was invented for.

A few weeks ago, a supermarket was advertising for a "Chsritmas Light Untangler"! It was a seasonal job, apparently, but training would be given. I coud do with someone like this at home to sort out my computer wiring.
We have moved to a much smaller tree this year and it isn't large enough to take our lights, that means I won't have to curse my way through unravelling them, thank goodness smile

That's a job I would not wish for, unravelling that, no thanks, great shots though
Picturit: Thank you for stopping by. Noticing the comments I realize there are a lot of people 'struggling' with the lights and the Christmas-tree LOL...
Astrid.
The number one reason I will not do lights! I delegate that task, LOL! Great capture!
Picturit: Robin, I never realized that many people 'suffer' the same fate HA....
When I saw this young man 'shaking' the bunch of lights I knew there was a story here....
Astrid.
I've just been untangling them myself this evening!

The Christmas tree lights almost always provide a challenge one way or another...
Picturit: We always make sure that we 'roll' them nicely on a piece of cardboard and put a rubber band around it. Works well wink
Astrid.
two minutes after these shots wer taken, this guy took a sledgehammer and smashed them all and then procured a new set of lights. or perhaps not tongue
Picturit: tongue I think he should not do that for he worked for the community and I think to buy new lamps came from his paycheck wink
Astrid.
nice tryptych...
