I love your image - I love these old windmills, and the old boats as well!
Picturit: Thank you, Elizabeth. This is at 5 minutes walk from where we live and I pass it 5 times a week, on workdays.
I never get tired of this view.
Astrid.
This is very colourful and very Dutch too Astrid. Can I have a ride in your boat?
Picturit: No problem (I think). This is the windmill close to where we live. We will show you on our walk around the citadel. There are 4 windmills in Gorinchem.
I pass this one on my way home from work.
Astrid.
Such a deeply colourful scene, Astrid - you must see it in all its moods, passing it so frequently
Picturit: Every day is different. I love the time that I have sunrise at 6.15A. The sun is behind the windmill, when I enter the parking garage. When I come home, at late shift, there will be the sunset. The windmill is lit up by floodlights. It is an ever changing scene and I love it.
Astrid.
I like very much. Particularly as you have this oriented portrait style. Have a good weekend
Picturit: Thank you so much. In summer the trees are kind of 'in the way'. So that is why I did the portrait style.
Have a good weekend, yourself, too
Astrid.
Wow, this is a beautiful Astrid! I love to see windmills......and boats, together is a real bonus!
Picturit: We are so lucky that we have both. We have 4 windmills in our city and we are surrounded by water. There are always boats to see.
I never bores me.
Astrid.
You describe this scene like its something you would see everywhere, Astrid.
I suppose that's true if you live in one country.
Astrid.
