I would have to be a cut-throat razor that was used, Astrid.
Picturit: You mean those old fashion knives the barbers sharpen while you are there and then after that put it on your throat, while asking.... how are we doing today, Sir... still loving your wife....
Astrid.
Very interesting... smile I like that you chose B&W!
Picturit: Thanks, it came kind as a joke, Chad, Chris and I were discussing this scene being used by Mike (Blackdog) grin.
Astrid.
Great framing Astrid... and it is even better in B&W... good title... what else is a man to do... if he had to shave in a dark room.... i like it....petersmile
Picturit: I think by now you can shave with your eyes closed... wink

Interesting place to shave by an open window .Well spotted
Picturit: Maybe the cool air makes the shaving more smooth??

Picturit: If the sun was out, yes indeed, maybe the signal would be.... help... I cut while shaving wink

Bath is full of handsome shaven men Astrid: there are also some other horrible hirsuit examples that we will not mention here
Picturit: Remember walking by this window grin... and yes I saw one very dear hirsuit example too smile
Have a great day!
Astrid.
Worthy of the great Blackdog smile
Picturit: smile Thank you Bill.
Chad, Chris and I walked by that window and we mention this scene...

Well spotted, Astrid! I often saw in England the toilette- mirrows (mostly used by the ladies) behind the windows! But why so dark, today?
Grappig Chris' commentaartje en jouw antwoord!
Picturit: Waarom zo donker...

Strong b&w. A voyeuristic mirror to eye passersby.
Picturit: Thank you Louis, it was fun to do and indeed we wondered why it was that close in the open window.

Lovely framing, it would be wonderful to zoom in on the mirror and see what it is reflecting.
Picturit: Well maybe we would not want to know at all.... neighbours and stuff like that grin

I'd be too busy watching in the view out of the window and not looking at my handsome looks in the mirror if that were me wink
Picturit: I know and that is dangerous while shaving.... it might destroy your good looks wink

Picturit: Thanks, it was intended to look that way, it is fun to do B&W every once in a while.

This can only be Bath but then, yes, I think I remember you taking this. A fine image too and well worth putting here Astrid.
Picturit: Thank you so much Chad, yes we talked about Mike, while we walked by... it could have been a scene he would capture.

Ha ha I just read that your title indicated Bath. duh.
Picturit: smile wink
Astrid.
I hope he didn't lose attention and cut himself shaving when he saw you two ladies gazing up at him cameras poised.
Picturit: He might be on the floor, bleeding to death... oops I watch too much TV I think... NCIS and CSI... grin
Astrid.
I love how mysterious this picture is, great work!
Picturit: Thank you Laura, it started as a joke, I 'tried' to come in close to the style of one of our friends.. wink

I love how you spotted this scene.

The title conjures up so many scenes in my head ;-)

I hope you have a good week smile
Picturit: Thank you Penny, I had/have a great week, we could come up with a lot of mystery scenes for movies or books...
(Almost weekend again smile)

A whole story is waiting to be told here. Love the sense of the mysterious unknown. Great find!
Picturit: smile Thank you, it started out as a joke, somebody from Shutterchance always has these fabulous B&W and scenes like this.
Also lives in Bath and we were about to meet him in a pub.
I sometimes love playing around with this kind of pictures.

something ominous about this.. like a giant eye watching your every move.. great catch.. smile
Picturit: It was difficult to get the mirror a little lighter, you are right... Big brother is watching you smile
Astrid.
... and after that: paint the town red ;-)
Picturit: grin..... that would use a lot of paint......
Astrid.
Lovely capture. Love these tones... I had to stop by, it's been way too long!
