Very '20s style hat, isn't it, Astrid?
Picturit: I have three in a differnt colour.
Astrid.
Very feathery looking hats... oh yes... they're mushrooms.
Picturit: They are mushroom-hats, the gnomes love them.
Astrid.
These mushrooms have a very distinctive name Astridcus... goo shot....petersmile
Picturit: Of course they have, they are very Royal... grin.

Lol at Chris!

Retro 20's - Ray is right about that. I nearly missed 'Astrid'.
Picturit: That is why the mushroom is called 'Astridicus' part of the name is visible.
Astrid.
Ah! the '(In)Edible woman'
Picturit: I would not touch that in a thousand years... you never know with those Astridicuses grin

I think they are sweet like small hats. Love the water drops on the grass.
Picturit: It was early morning just before the sun was getting warmer.
They are like gnomes hats.
Astrid.
Shaggy manes! I think they are my favorite for photographs. Beautiful!
Picturit: Thank you, we do see many of these and I never know if they are poisonous.

Astrid this is wonderful
Picturit: Thank you so much Adrian, I was lucky with the sun.
Astrid.
Next to the Red topped Fly Agarics these must be the most photographed toadstools I reckon. You doe a good job with this trio Astrid.
Picturit: Thank you Brian, we never spotted the red ones, maybe next year more lucky.
Astrid.
Nice ones! I always wonder which would be edible ;-)
Picturit: I don't even want to try... I think you must have studied the subject to realy know which you can eat.... the ones out of a can maybe wink

I like this close study of mushrooms, are they edible, I dare not try.
Picturit: I don't dare either... I am told that most of the mushrooms are NOT edible and I did not study the subject to know different.

schitterende inktzwammen , supermooie foto's

De Engelse naam is o.a Shaggy Manes.
Astrid
Wonderful shot Astrid!! They could also be little pac-man's!
Picturit: Thank you, Elizabeth.
smile Yes indeed, I found out that it is an edible fungus...

Astrid.
Good capture, like the details and pov.
Picturit: Thank you Mats, every once in a while I go on the ground to take pictures grin
Astrid.
Interesting mushrooms, don't know if I would eat them. Great angle for this shot, hope the grass was dry!
Picturit: I rather let them in peace and let nature do its work...
I had one wet knee, but who cares with a shot like this grin

I ate one of these only the other day, Astrid - had to add a bit of garlic to give it some flavour, but it was quite good.
Picturit: AH, you know your mushrooms... my mom always told me to stay away them as long as you don't know the difference between them..
I only take pictures of them wink
I know of the kind that are edible, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chanterelle but never did.
Astrid.
