Such an adorable shot Astrid, love the arrangement and the beautiful colors and tones. Stunning image.

I can vouch for how you immediately thought of Bill and Mr. Pig when you saw this in Gelermalsen on Saturday...walking away from the windmill. Lady P takes good care of all her piglets. grin

Oh, Astrid, you are such a dear and cayring person, and I'm sure after Mr. Piggy has looked at this sweet Hollands meisje, de bloemptjes en de klomptjes, the flue flew at once away- far far away, but, please, not to me!

Oh, sorry, de bloemetjes/bloempjes zijn driekleurige viooltjes (we gebruiken de grappige uitdrukking "Stiefmütterchen") en de klompjes zouden eigenlijk "Klümpjes"zijn: een beetje zukker of honing in de thee- dit mocht Mr. Pig goed doen om snel weer op de benen te komen! Waar heb je deze fijne vondst opgedaan?
Picturit: We liepen in Geldermalsen terug van de Windmolen naar de auto en dit was in een tuin, geweldig gewoon, ik kon hier natuurlijk niet aan voorbij lopen, niet nadat ik vrijdag Bill's kleine varkentje in bed zag liggen.....
Elkaar een beetje goedbedoeld plagen moet kunnen, ze hebben humor genoeg, ik ook wink

Picturit: A lot of people have things like this in the yard, however, this scene is very nicely composed and painted, the people did a great job, I had to capture this scene because I thought of Bill and the pig...

Ginnie pleased me with her church image today Astrid and now you come up with a pig, my favourite animals believe it or not. I would love one of those little stauetes to add to my collection, sad aren't I smile

Leuk hoor, had onze Bill een van zijn varkens verloren? Een hollandse griet had de beest gevonden en morgen krijg ze een boterham met ham.
Picturit: Ik denk dat je vrijdag's post van Bill gemist hebt....zijn varkentje in bed, met de swine-flew....
Ik zag dit zaterdag in een tuin......geweldig....

Picturit: It sure does, we are very happy with each other, we live in the now and do things we like to do, in the weekends this is, I work 40 hours a week and after a day of work we might just watch some TV (NCIS ad CSI) or watch a movie.

Oh my gosh Astrid, what a joyful little photo - made me smile from the moment I opened the page and every time I've looked at it since! I also love the way you "place" your name on all of your photos - very creative indeed!

Picturit: The way I put my signatures in some of the pictures, is my 'trade-mark' sometimes I 'hide' it, I kind of like the scene too, would not want to have it in my yard though, but it did fit this garden very well.

I am a fan of pigs in every size and shape.
Picturit: I know some people that collect them, there are many shapes of them.

Whehehehe, this is SOOOOOO very Dutch!!! Cottage style arrangements in your front yard!! Reminds me of the time that it was very 'hip' to have bloody wooden geese in your window sill!! Two of them, facing each other.
