.....not 10 o'clock.....

Ginnie (please check her post) and I were on a photo-hunt in Groningen

a town in the North-East of Holland

we have so much fun with what we end up capturing

it is the same, however so much different....

Astrid on one window and G on the other. Talk about being lucky. smile You know how much I love the way you see things. Too bad the sundial wasn't on this side of the tower.
Picturit: We had a great day and going by train was a good idea.
I love our hunts together and in this way I get to know my own country (again)
Astrid.
Una buena composición, te ha quedado muy bien el edificio reflejado en la ventana donde se puede ver la hora. Una imagen genial.

Saludos
I like this reflection and it is a good contrast to Ginnie's picture

goed gespot ! heel mooi
Picturit: Dank je wel, ik ben erg onder de indruk van jouw tekeningen, geweldig om met een 'simpele' lijn zoveel karakter in de tekening te krijgen.
Astrid

Great reflection shot, two completely different views of the same subject and both very good smile
Live your take on it. Lots to see.

A nice capture Astrid. Groningen is nice!
Picturit: Groningen is a wonderful city to walk around, that day it was cold but good.
Not as cold as when we were in Deventer.....

You both have captured the tower but so differently. This happens with Zed Aussie and I we all have way of seeing things
Picturit: You know how much fun it is to go 'hunting pictures' with others and be surprised.
Astrid.
Two takes on the same subject, both different, and I like them both.
Picturit: smile Thanks Brian, we love doing this.

i do like how you got creative and decided to capture it through a reflection.. well done.. smile
Picturit: When Ginnie and I go together on these hunts, I kind of don't want to end up with 'the same pictures' as Ginnie is, not that I will ever end up with that superb quality.
I also look different at things as Ginnie is, that is fun...
Thank you Rian.
Astrid.
I absolutely LOVE this.
Picturit: smile Thank you, it was fun finding the right angle.

Love the reflection and how it could be read as a view through the building.
Picturit: I did not even notice that...you are right.
Astrid
Great title! Great symmetry with Ginnie's rendition.
Picturit: smile Thanks
Astrid
In fact, this photo paired with Ginnie's would make a great diptych.
Picturit: I had to ask Ginie what a 'diptych' is.....
I agree with you... wink
Astrid
great capture of that reflection!!!
Picturit: Thanks, buildings with a lot of woodwork never bore me out, so much to see, the reflection was just a treat with it.

Brilliant reflection of the clock tower in the window, one of these special little moments you find when you keep your eyes open, well done.
Picturit: Thank you so much for visiting me and for your kind words, I always look around me...smile
Astrid.
some say a photo is mere image mirroring, but i am glad that you have become a marauder in your art, hunting and taking photos for your own.
your photos are your prisoners, your slaves. they exist only to serve you, and find meaning in their destiny.
but as all hunters know, you must also respect the prey. you must be the prey. you get inside its mind to understand it. you know where the photo hides and you know what it eats and you know where it shows its face.
and the hunt takes the character also of the general, the strategist, who captures by surprise, or by starving the image until it surrenders, or by overwhelming her prey.
and that, astrid, is why you capture such 'same yet different' photographs.
Picturit: When I read your comment I read it to Ginnie, wow, how well do you know me, very well I think, thank you for your wonderful words.
You are right, I am very observant....HA, it happens to be my job too, I am a quality controller in a wood-factory that makes cabinets (and other things of wood) I am there for the cabinets, 'they' get crazy sometimes from me.....I do see 'everything'
I love to hunt for pictures.
All the best to you Seraphine, hope that you will pass the test!!
Astrid.
