Excellent silhouette image Astrid. The two birds just grab one's attention. Creates a kind of mysterious mood, love this shot!
Picturit: Thanks John, I was hiding from the rain and saw these two birds....facing each other....wondering if they would head south to the sun....smile

Pretty soon they'll be sitting there side by side, love birds to the very end. grin
Picturit: You know I love happy endings, so the end of this story is.......they flew off together into the world and they lived happily ever after.....gringrin....
Astrid
PS.....where, do you ask.......for me to know for them to guess wink

Same twig, anyway...but, I fear there may have been a little tiff in the recent past.

Let's hope they get close again 'cos "Baby, Its cold outside!"
Picturit: They get close Ray, 'cos' I was told these are love birds....
and you know what that means...wink
Astrid.
...but not too close...

Maybe an old couple.
Picturit: Rémi, watch my words, even old birds can be love birds, they will get closer, they just take their time.....wink

A wonderful, minimalistic pic of a fine silhouettes character- with such a deep expression - I love this photo! It says more then many words!
Picturit: I was just hiding from the rain when I saw these two birds, could not resist to take this picture, I told Ginnie.....the end of the story was...they flew off together and lived happily ever after....wink

Together? You must come and watch in my backyard how the birds interpret 'together' - and it is not even cold. They don't keep a long distance from each other. At least these two are looking at each other - here's looking at you girl!

Great picture, I like the composition. Soon they will be together.
Picturit: Thanks Louis, I know some birds take their time to really be together, but oh boy, watch out when they do are together....their will be no space in between them I think.....wink

Together, yet apart! Love the simple composition of this Astrid.
Ingrid
Picturit: Thanks Ingrid, when I uploaded this picture yesterday, I just realised the simplicity made it that I wanted it to post, yes ....together, yet apart, they flew off together though...(and lived happily ever after)
Astrid.
Simply wonderful Astrid. I love it!
Picturit: Thank you Richard, it was taken yesterday on a rainy day on the island of Texel.

Looking slightly cautious at the moment, who is going to edge along the branch first?
Picturit: ....we will never know, for they flew off together......wink

You have triumphed again, Astrid 2009, with a splendid photograph. So cleverly done. I am impressed.
Picturit: Thank you so much, I was hiding from the rain on a walk yesterday and looked up into the sky and saw these two 'love birds'......I was just struck by the simplicity, Ingrid said it so well, 'together, yet apart'
I believe in happy endings.
Astrid.
Looks like it may be an arguement.
Picturit: They made up afterwords......that was their promise to each other....wink
Thanks Mary.

Een foto met weinig en toch veelzeggend door je titel. Mooi gedaan.
Picturit: Dank je wel, er zit een veel diepere betekenis achter deze foto, sommigen weten hiervan, soms heb ik van deze foto's.

lol.. what's that? an LQ (lover's quarrel)? grin well, that's how i would interpret it.. smile nice shot..
Picturit: NO they are madly in love only they live on different continents....they just got together again....wink
Astrid.
I like the simplicity too, in fact it may even worked if cropped to just the two birds or similar.
Picturit: I will give it a try once....thank you for your kind words as always.
Astrid.
