And where are you in this? I can't picture what you're standing on. Puzzling. I love the view.
Picturit: When you made that remark, now I see that you think I am into the water, well I almost fell in, again, remember the picture a few days ago with the stairs, it is possible to go down the stairs and than there is a kind of second footway, in a few days I have a post that shows, so I was on that footway looking under the bridge to the other end, I am glad you like it, Astrid

This is the Oude Gracht in Utrecht still, Astrid, as you and I both know. And for Ruth, I can still see you standing on that "wharf" area at the bottom of the stairs that went down to the water's edge. I knew you had gotten a lovely shot, and so you did! Now I see it! Finally. smile I LOVE how you have captured the feel of this far end!
Picturit: Yes, you were down there too and I walked next to that boat, you know I am always kind of curious what is 'hidden behind things'.....this....glad you like it..Astrid

There is light in the darkness, Astrid.
Picturit: You know me Kathryn, I do believe in your words, some times we have to try hard to see the light, but it will come, I am sure...Astrid

A lovely atmospheric view -and with some phantasy I could imagine to be in Venice( but I know there are some grachtentours like in Venice, for example in 's Hertogenbosch last year! Wonderful!)

Nice work with light and dark.smile
Picturit: I found my glasses again and I cleaned them, that helped a lot grin, now that you mention it, you do see more in the picture than I did, I was just paying attention NOT to fall in the gracht (canal) LOL have a nice weekend....smile Astrid.
