My name is Astrid, in my mid fifty’s, I live in the centre of the Netherlands in a small town, yes with two windmills, a few canals, a big river and no..... I don’t walk in wooden shoes all the time (but I do have a pair ....)
After buying my digital Nikon D80 camera in Mai 2007, I started posting on SC and that literally changed my life, I found my dear wife Ginnie through SC, we got married the 5th of February 2010. I love photography, both taking pictures and enjoying the images captured by others. My style of taking pictures might be different, I try to see the humour of things and try to ‘hide’ my signature in my pictures.
I welcome comments and constructive criticism, suggestions for improvement are very much welcome (it might help me....)
My eyes, my imagination, a tripod, one pair of good shoes, my bicycle, our car. If you go over the images with the cursor, you’ll see the type of camera, but that’s the less important information, a very good camera is no guaranty for ‘good’ pictures. Sometimes I use Paint Shop Pro X3 (Corel Draw)
I'll gladly provide copies of my photo's, I will be proud and amazed if anyone would like a copy of my work. All photographs posted on my blog page remain under my copyright and must not be copied or used in anyway without prior agreement
