It might help me to find a few co-operative birds like this, Astrid...I am about to start a small series on small feathered critters.
Picturit: I wish you luck, but I am convince you will do great (More than great)

Did you have to go to an agent to find the right one Astrid. Was it expensive? This bird seems to be studying your name, or perhaps you had just finished painting it and it is admiring your handiwerk.
Picturit: This little fella was sitting on a stone wall I passed....he gave me a brush and paint to do my handiwerk...

Haha- it always amazes me what your eye does discover - the background looks a bit like spaghetti - or are they bushes or tree- branches?
Picturit: A little bit too much Twiddle, there were tree branches in the background.

If he turns around he may mistaken the background for worms, MLMA. grin I love it...even the screws holding him down. HA!
Picturit: Plenty of worms there, he will grow into a big blimp....
Astrid.
Dead cert' success then Astrid.

What a good bird, and so quiet.
I love, love, love this crow. I have a couple just like it, it seems, after reading your reply to peter. I thought this was a ceramic one. I have a couple of plastic ones and really like them.
j'aime beaucoup l'effet à l'arrière des branches et ces différents textures aussi

Finally, and then someone wrote your name on the iron rail. It seems to fascinate the bird.
A fine opportunity taken with your usual aplomb Astrid.
Lovely bit of sculpture!
I know just what you mean. I only have to look at them and they fly off!

Hahahah!! I'd probably end up with camera shake! No chance of this one flying away.
I love the depth of focus and the different textures.
