A change to see it in b/w Astrid, very nice.
Picturit: It is very strange that this picture looks better in B&W. Thank you, Frank.
Very nice in B&W!
Picturit: Thank you, Elizabeth.
Jolie vue sur ce canal.
Picturit: Venice is a great place to be, only when there are not too many tourists... and not too hot.

This could be nowhere else on earth other than Venice Astrid..
Picturit: Don't you just love it. It has its own signature and the moment you see it you know what it is... we had a great time there, but never have to back again.
It's those little alleyways, Astrid, that still make Venice for me. Fabulous!
Picturit: That is the same for me, Ginnie. Also all those wooden poles in the water to put boats in between.
Le rendu Noir et blanc est superbe !
Picturit: Thank you kindly, Claudine. The colour version did not do well. Sometimes I like the B&W better.

This hasn't changed much over the years, Astrid
Picturit: It will never change, Lisl. And I hope they can "save" the place.

Magnifique N&B
Picturit: Thank you very much, JP.
Venetië is en blijft mooi hè ?
Picturit: Ja, inderdaad, Marjolein. Er zijn heel wat mooie plekjes te vinden. Wij waren er een week en hebben ook het Venetië gezien waar de meeste toeristen geen tijd voor nemen.

Venice is also beautiful in b&w - but today we are all in a black mood ...
Picturit: Venice is beautiful in B&W. It is so iconic that it does not matter what colour. I often prefer B&W.
A Canaletto done in charcoal
Picturit: He did some amazing paintings!! Thank you, Bill.

A very fine image that works very well in b&w Astrid. I can see just how much you have enjoyed the Amsterdam of the south.
Picturit: You are so right here, Chad. I really liked the place, we were at many places were tourists don't take the time for to visit. Even walking around was great. all those little bridges and the small canals. We took a week to visit it.
Going around with the water buses was also a delight.
Nice to see a Vence shot in B.& W.
Picturit: Indeed so, thank you Brian.

quintessential Venice! Love the signature here too!
Picturit: Thank you so much, Robin. This is one of the places that looks great in B&W. We truly loved to visit the place.
So much to see when no colour is involved.
Picturit: You are so right, Mary. Like this one, the B&W is much better.

One of the "back streets" I guess. I hope the washing is securely attached to the washing lines.
Picturit: HA, I hope so too about the washing lines... the worst thing that can happen is another "rinsing"... the water in the canals is pretty clean...
And yes indeed one of the "back streets"...
Lovely in mono!
Picturit: Thank you kindly, Tom.

The black and white makes it timeless.
Picturit: Indeed so, Cherry.
