Oh My Golly This is so good, and so rich, and so totally awesome!!!! I feel I should send you a thank you card for posting it, Astrid!
Picturit: You are so welcome and I feel so fortunate to have seen this. This is the third year in a row that we spend 4 day family time here in the mountains.
In Dutchland we have skies like these, but NO mountains....
Astrid.
Gorgeous Astrid!! I lived in Asheville, NC for a few years - and this image exemplifies why they call their branch of the Blue Ridge "The Great Smokey Mountains"!
Picturit: So you are kind of familiar with this view. My first time in the Smokey Mountains was in 1975. Now for the third time in a row we spend family time here.

Oh, een geweldige foto! Ik heb zulke wolkenluchten met de zon ook op Zeeland 's avonds gezien - maar geen bergen. I can imagine how lucky and happy you both are!

You have excelled your self Astrid. Did you have to rush outside in your nightdress to take this?
Picturit: I was watching this all the way....yes in my pink nightdress....
I think the bear fell out of a tree when he saw me wink
Thank you Big Bro. We came to the mountains to enjoy this kind of view.
(I spoke with a mountain man, who lives here and yes last week, 2 mama black bears and 6 youngsters... so I was careful during my walks. They run 40 miles an hour...
Almost leaving and into our last adventure, stay with friend at Lake Lanier, north of Atlanta.
